Billy’s interview

I was surprised by his restraint and diplomacy after being provoked by supposedly unbiased (don’t make me laugh) media. The Wrexham management and some of their players were clearly appallingly snide enough to do most of the digging off camera.
Billy said what PH was not allowed to.
My only disappointment was criticism of officals, however bent and poorly influenced they obviously were. Still it needed to be said and PH position doesn’t allow it!

It’s over now, and strangely, United get the lucrative tie against Spurs. There’s a surprise. 🤣

PS. Billy please stay above it and let your football do the talking. 🤗

Stay classy eh Sharp and Blades fans?
Utd fans throwing the toys out of the pram because the focus has been on Wrexham's unusual takeover. A non league side taken over by actors

What exactly has Ryan Reynolds done or said to piss you off so much?
MOTD interviewed him so what? The tabloids built up coverage of the game. We didn't.
Rob and Ryan have every right to use their social media to promote their club and strengthen the affinity with the fans etc
Reality check needed by some of your fans
You can pop over to your own forum now son

BBC5 Live Commentary last night, when Davies saved the pen,you can hear the co commentator/expert shout "oh no" in the background.
BBC Radio 4 this morning, sports guy continually calling us "Sheffield".

The BBC is a shadow of its former self, once famed for its integrity and impartiality it now just buys into the same narrative as other media outlet. They wanted the so called fairytale and were gutted when it didn't happen.
Luckily for them them they'll now have big bad mean bully Billy to fill up a few column inches.
I don't think I've ever said this, but the ITV Coverage last night was far superior to the BBC, sure they were still fawning over the RR narrative but it was nothing compared to the biscuit wank the BBC were giving it

🗣️ Sheffield United's Billy Sharp on Wrexham: "I think they've been disrespectful with a few things before the game, thinking they were already through.

"I'm glad we've beaten them. We've got one over on them."

So, they lack decorum, but if they go through it fits the fairytale narrative, if we go through and we call them out on it, we're rattled? Right. Regardless of who you are, what level you play at, who your owners are or what level your opponents play at, you show respect.

Not clever winding Billy and the lads up. They needed us to be laid back and careless.

Billy wasn't happy with the Ref either. He thought he got nothing from him all night.
Ref gave us fuck all night ... he’d already asked deadpool for a pair of his used knickers to sniff pre match

Lineker,Shearer and co take off their Premier League hats and put an FA Cup hat on to pay lip service to it and drone on about the romance, put some small teams on screen for a couple of weeks and then pray for them to disappear so as not to spoil their desired showpiece final.None of the BBC elitists want anybody outside the PL anywhere near the final, its just a case of looking for a story, some local "characters",something quirky they can throw out to promote their hypocrisy and fake little team FA Cup romance agenda.

He fabricated a full 5th round tie at home to Spurs
Sorry Tozer .. you Mullin & some more of your lot started believing all the bullshit & media hype .. glad you got brought down a peg or two & you got some earache in the tunnel .. now fk off back to your next game in Bible Class league .. no one will remember within a week 😢

This definitely spills over from the first game. Before last weekend one of mates bumped in to a first team squad member and talking about the upcoming replay was told that we were all really up for it and determined to win because of things that had been said in and around the first tie.
I'd not be surprised if their manager had really stoked the fires on this one too because of his history with us.

Remember this was the Phil Parkinson who said Bolton were the better side at the Lane after Billy netted a brace. He is just a bitter lower league manager I have no issue with Wrexham I wish them well but I cannot stomach Parkinson .. UTB

They call them a fairytale club but it’s had the finances of league one team there’s no wonder they’re cutting through their league not so much fairytale it’s more Chelsea or Man City bulldozing their way through.

A set of twats, as perfectly illustrated by Mullin’s pathetic flounce when he was subbed off. Got roundly booed and rightly so.

No romance in their story roping in a squad to play way their level for £££ and a stegosaurus has been manager playing percentages. Went from believing in themselves in the first game to believing their own hype.

the officials in both games gave us nothing and wrexham everything that non given penalty for us last night was the worst decision by a referee ive seen this season he was 10 yards away and looking straight at the blatant hand ball disgraceful decision he gave us nothing and wrexham everything last night

He knew he was coming off anyway but didn't want to just slide off the side of the pitch unnoticed. Begged That Parkinson twat to let him stay on for a few seconds of play so that he could get to the middle of the pitch and get a proper ovation from our Welsh friends. It also meant that he would get more camera time.

The Hollywood attention and the series has made their entire campaign more of a drama program than sport. And they're lapping it up. To be fair, I think I would if it were us in their position. The worry for them is if everyone gets bored of their plaything.

All Billy said was that he felt they’d been disrespectful, he didn’t like some things that went off and he’s glad we won. It goes to show just how sterile post match interviews are these days that this has been blown up into a major issue. Billy’s entitled to say whatever he likes. He did say they’d played excellently too. Fuss over nothing. Wrexham fans embarrassing themselves by acting like 15 year olds saying we’re “rattled” or they’re living “rent free” in our heads. No, we’ve just beaten you in the cup and our captain was asked how he felt. We move on now.

Wrexham are just another Lincoln City under them brothers when they had a cup run, play the same way,it's all about brute force, brawn, percentages allied to organisation, chasing and harrying and trying to get their opponents to knuckle under.

We are the only team of note in Sheffield, get used to it. Embrace it even. It's just evidence of that we are the only team that comes to mind when anyone thinks of Sheffield 🤷🏼‍♂️

The Disney + show wasn’t even that interesting in all honesty. Got through 3 episodes before the novelty of Ryan Reynolds saying things like “Vauxhall conference” lost its novelty. Just another side buying some success. Great for the fans but that’s about it.

The recent AFC Bury one and Sunderland til I Die were better. Didn’t even have Mullin sitting down to Spag Bol and his Phil Collins cassette on a Friday night.
