Just seen on SS that there owners are going to spend to the maximum and attack the transfer market to help them stay up. We need to go up to keep hold of hamer and Cooper as wouldn't surprise me if they are targets for them

Statements like that are welcomed by fans, but also welcomed by the clubs selling players to Leeds.

Hamer's price has just increased by, ooh, i don't know, lets say 80% as a starter, lets see how they take that....

I won't believe it till a retired, ex-pat accountant releases it as a series of cryptic tweets

Their problem is that everyone despises them. DL is an abbreviation known round the country.
Apart from the media who seem to nosh them off at every opportunity.

I had a girlfriend from Leeds once and, ever the romantic, I took her to watch United away at Gillingham (for those that remember, it was the one where Morgan and Henderson got in a tangle, both receiving their marching orders). I'd warned her in advance that all the other 91 League clubs sang the song "We All Hate Leeds", and I was only too happy to point out to her during the game that the Gillingham fans were indeed very obligingly belting said song out.

We split up a few weeks later.

Anyone else pass a Leeds fan dressed in full kit on Slate Street in his front garden with his wife and kid. He thumped the badge as we walked back to parking after Blackburn march. Not sure what reaction he was after but perhaps lucky we just took it in good humour.

Just read this. Some might think it's funny but I'd be disappointed if we did this the other way round. Disrespectful in my opinion.

For those not seen it, it's from Leeds united official twitter saying nowt worth watching tonight (last night) watch leeds' 95 goals from this season's side (assembled for over £120m and biggest wage budget I might add)

I hope Wilder still has the pin it on the wall mentality to fire up the players.

Its this sort of nonsense, alongside the Bamford baiting of Wilder, that shows just how relived they are as a club to not have chucked Auto promotion out of the window.

In an alternate world where we win at Oxford, v Millwall and Plymouth - I do wonder if Leeds crumble again...

As they've had some success after regular capitulations, they are desperate for some attention from their rivals to rub it in.

As they don't have any rivals, and the main one they cling to at best consider them their 3rd most detested team, they have focused in on us. At least I supposed they are current holders of our 2nd most despised team so they are higher up the pecking order?

I'd prefer if they went back to having a pissing competition with the pigs about who is the biggest!

Imagine writing an article about that 🤣

For me it goes Wednesday, Forest, Leeds, Man City. The latter one due to their total arrogance after we lost early last season and how dare we play men behind the ball.

In defence of some Leeds fans many of them have been saying on social media that it was a penalty and a red card last night.
