Having watched a couple of cracking games - Luton v Boro and Bristol v Leeds the thought sunk in that the very worst that could happen this season would be that we rejoin one of the best, most exciting and most competitive leagues in world football......as serious heavyweights and contenders for promotion again. The best that could happen is that we don’t get relegated and we continue to build a fearsome squad and reputation.

We’ve been written off by everyone so it’s a no pressure season for Wilder and Knill to have a serious bash at the PL.

We’ve splashed the cash but all the signings have a degree of risk to them as unproven players at PL or risk of injury, attitude issues etc. The Moose not fit? Lundstram, are we really going to risk the team engine with him? Kean, ready or not, McB, can he do it at this level? Etc.

But if we go down with this squad we are much stronger than last season provided CWAK can do the magic and make them gel and not go Billy big bollox and want out.

Going to be a risk free fun season and only five days to go to KO.

I agree. I started with the Blades in div 3 so I am well up for it and worst case scenario we will be back to being 1 division up.
