1. Darlington
2. Leicester
3. Pigs double - stopped them winning the league
4. Tripple assault
5. Right fucking now

(sorry don't know how to do the vote thing)

Leicester for a single day (ok maybe a bit longer) but for the sheer sustained joy, right now.

when your born and bred in Leicester, surrounded at work by Leicester supporters, to clinch promotion last day of the season and take over the ground, which i constantly remind them of, then theres only 1 answer

Right fking Now

but leicester was a bloody close call

Merry Xmas to all Blades, especially the ones in Leicester

Nice one mate. I was there too on that joyous occasion! Made all the better by learning that the Owls were going down as well! I was there 20 years earlier, when Woodward beat Peter Shilton with a direct goal from a corner kick! Oh the fun we've had in Leicester over the years. Hoskins & Oldfield brewery at Frog Island, the Curry Pot on Belgrave Road, the pop end on Filbert Street...all splendid stuff with lots of happy memories.

the curry pot has long gone im afraid, i thought that was one of the best along the golden mile, Pop 1 in the corner for the away fans, even made a school pal who supported city go in there for the cup game when chris garland got a hat trick, and a certain keith edwards made his debut i think as a sub
heres some more moments from city games that you might recall resulting in wins, a night game when sabella played for us winning 1 nil i remember steve conroy making a super double save tipping a rebound on the bar, sid cowans playing a passing game on a ploughed field of a pitch when mitch ward scored a double. seems like yesterday where did those 40 years go lol

Well, at the moment I'm working on my mental strength and trying to make a conscious effort to not live too much in the past. Like football and the Blades, the past had some fantastic times and some erm well shite times. I'm trying to live in the 'here and now' and savour ever single day whilst I still have my physical and mental health. Bit deep for a Saturday morning, right 😂

Right fucking now, for me! 💪💪💪

Bizarrely enough, I took myself off to watch us against Oxford in League 1, Lady HB and Jnr couldn’t make it. Had a crap pint in Frankie and Bennies. Match was exciting, but we weren’t at our best.

At full time, I looked around at the fans (including some Forum Royalty) and just at that moment I knew were promoted and the promise of a new era was confirmed. That brief moment still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

Other highlights, so many to chose from... Man Utd in fifth round (this mans left foot is magic) the only game I’ve been with my Dad at BDTBL (he’s a Portadown fan), win against Cov in the Cup and Billy’s goal at Tennis Ball Gate, Bouncing Day, Semi Final against Newcastle (despite the result, what a weekend I had), another great weekend involving a trip to Elm Park (we ate all the pies).

So many good times.

Right now though, this is the best sustained time I’ve been a Blade since my first match in 1992.

Right now, to enjoy this team with my son is just a dream. I’m taking him to his first away day today and can’t wait. ⚔
Yeah that’s the best thing,my boy is 9 got his first season ticket, lots of memories being made@best time ever.

Northampton 2017
Walking round Crystal Peaks a week later and seeing that Notlob were losing to Oldham, confirming us champions of League One (you'll never sing that).
Bouncing Day
L**ds in March
Ipswich at home
Billy's goal at Bournemouth

Well worth having to endure years of shit I reckon!

Darlington 82.
I have said this before Purely because it would never be allowed to happen now. Blades on all 4 sides of the Ground and sat on the edges of the pitch.
The fancy dress was amazing wasn't it? Before the match started we had Batman and Robin and Bugs Bunny and all sorts of characters being chased across the pitch by policemen! Absolutely hilarious! 😂 And as for watching the match sat on the grass next to the touchline - I did that in the second half - it was like being at a school sportsday!:D
