He first came to my attention last September with that goal he scored for Wales against Austria.

Won me a fair bit of money. :)

Im slightly cautious of these youtube vids.... however.... he seems to be very cool and composed charcter whilst having good positional sense and an eye for goal - seems promising :)

Not read all the various posts on this lad but he reminds me of Robbie Fowler in terms of how he shapes up.
Clearly destined for great things, having him in for a season is excellent business. Let’s hope Mr Klopp likes the way we treat him & sends another 1 or 2 across to benefit from Messrs Wilder & Knill.

Can't say I've heard of him before. Is it someone we're looking at?

He'll fill the void of Brooks, similar player.

Tempering my optimism here he is a replacement for Brooks so we still need an out and out goalscorer. Also he doesn't look like he has the guile of Brooks he's more a 'regular' footballer.

If the Stir are correct (a big IF, I know), then dutiful cap doffing to Herr Klopp

"Aston Villa had also been chasing the teenage midfielderand were confident of securing his services having reached an investment agreement with billionaire Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, the co-owner of basketball franchise Milwaukee Bucks.

Despite acknowledging Villa was the more financial advantageous option, Klopp has steered Woodburn towards South Yorkshire for footballingreasons. The German, whose squad travelled to France for pre-season training earlier this week, believes the 18-year-old will gain more first team exposure with United and benefit from Chris Wilder's methods."

That bodes well for the future.

wow - he's got the lot from that initial video clip - left foot, right foot, beat the keeper one on one, cool at penalties.

No wonder L'pool rate him so highly.

Reckon he'll start on the bench v Swansea, but should soon become a regular.

He's the sort of player who'll murder teams away from home when they push up on us.

Do we really have the next Michael Owen for a year?

UTB

Not what we want, to be honest.

One answer - Dean Hammond
