Unfortunately I called Stoke at the start of last season and lost my money

I agree they’ve looked like they should for a while, mainly due to their continual over investment and manager cycle. However given those funds as soon as they landed on the right coach they should start to click pretty quickly.
I’d still say lose in playoffs but you never know.

They finished the season very strongly, their midfield seemed to really dominate in a lot of games.

They won 1 out of their final 10 games.

My bad

They had a very good run in March up to Easter, then absolutely tanked in the run-in which I must have missed.

I watched them take the game to Middlesbrough and draw 1-1 at the Riverside when they should have won and they also hammered Coventry, Sunderland and Blackburn around that time who were all in and around the play-offs.
That is where my perception was formed.
