Soft spot for this lad, always gives it 100%. Anyone who booed hi yesterday/today are absolute lengths.
Exactly. We released him / turfed him out, not his decision, and even if it was he always gave everything for us, never dicked us about or anything. Decent bloke.
Unfortunately all clubs have supporters like this, who also tend to be loud mouth bellends to make it worse.

He seemed to be behind most set pieces. Free kicks lumped into the box, corners, as well as being there in both boxes in open play, so it wasn’t such a concern for us.

It was certainly the right decision to move him on and he’s probably at his level now. Good luck to the lad

Very good player for us, if not a very good player outright. As others have said above it's just the injury record that undermined his value as a utility player. I always remember a Wilder interview in which he said that it was unique how intelligent Osborn was and could pick up that tactical requirements for a new role instantly. Also thought he had a very good game yesterday.

Overwhelming where I was was clapping. A few thick coked up knobs booed. The corner he took in 2nd half he nodded in recognition at clapping. Decent bloke. Anyone booing should just look at themselves.
Coked up knobs - the reason I've stopped being bothered about going to away matches

How can anyone boo Osborn. He's not the best footballer we've had over the years, but he certainly isn't anywhere near the worst. Gave us everything he had and he's a proper decent bloke. See the work he's doing with his academy. Wish him nothing, but the best

Osborn performed admirably in many PL and promotion chasing Champ games for us.

A good all rounder who maybe wasn't consistent enough to hold down one spot for a lengthy period but the type of professional who was worth their weight in gold to a club like us at times.

More importantly, an absolute top lad.

Will always deserve applause imho.

I have a plan each game now. It’s a deliberate plan to avoid Blades coke knobs. Ie Everton last year. Take lime st to Victoria train. 2 hours in the Manc early summer flesh pits Get train from Picc that starts at Picc. So avoid any direct lpool to Sheff train.. worked a dream no rozzing attention, decent people, nice crumpet, no coke knobs. Done it a few times now. I love all Blades but would rather not travel home with some bellend brothers!!

These dickheads need to understand that if they want to see players who are loyal to the shirt/club then it's probably not a good look to boo former players who were loyal to the shirt/club.

He seems like a genuinely decent lad. Good brain on him. Gave everything. Never complained. Glad he got to play for his childhood team.

Derby fans aren't happy with him either. Only watched the highlights but Ozzy was behind their best chances and looked to be their biggest threat.
A limited player, especially in the EPL, however he never hid, never stopped trying and gave everything for the cause.

Could never fault the lad , limited in ability but always gave 100% ..why in fks name a few decided to boo him is beyond me ?? .. did he ask to leave ? ..err no ..in fact if anything he wasn’t treated too well by the club with the story around him being offered & then withdrawn was true ?
Will always get my thx for his efforts in a Blades shirt ⚔️

Honestly didn't hear that much booing, all clapping around me with a small pocket booing above me, would be surprised if he heard it over the clapping.

Ironically, if he'd stayed he'd have had a solid run of games in his favoured position of centre mid this season. As others have noted, would rather have him than Shackleton...
Well, no, because he’d have been injured. He’s had 2 or 3 spells out as usual.

He was their best player at the Lane as well in autumn.

We did that coming back from Goodison last season 👍🏻
