Best thing you can say about when a player leaves is will he get a round of applause when he comes back in an opposing team, in Ben's case yes he will. He has always been 100% commited, not been any trouble apart from falling off his mate's shoulders (who hasn't done daft stuff pissed up). Generally been a good pro, playing wherever asked. Wish him luck

In my opinion he’s not a natural footballer but he gave 100% every game never stopped running and getting stuck in. Throw him in wing back he does the job, midfield he does the job, good versatile player and a nice guy too from his interviews. Best of luck to him.

What I don’t understand is how previously Hecky, and now Wilder can (allegedly) let the club be so amateurish and almost disrespectful to players? For all their sins, they’re both guys who know the time of day, and know what the right/wrong thing to do is. You’d have thought they could at least influence the way the club treats the players.
