I do agree with this. I think he is much better than we saw. I just hope he can get his career back on track. It's been a wasted 2 years for him really.

He still gave me my absolute favourite moment of last season vs Blackburn though so it's not all bad.

We never saw the best of him, and whatever the personal issues were they must have taken a toll.

Like Lundstram before him, he will be more comfortable up there as most weeks he'll be up against lower quality than he'd have faced here, getting a decent wage and getting some games in Europe.
