Being A Blade...

I've just been watching that video on you tube with the blur track for about the 20th time and it got me thinking and no one is awake and i need to release what i'm thinking or i really wont sleep....

In my lifetime of supporting the blades and following them (which isnt as long as some of you) we have experienced that many highs, yeah I know we seen a fair few lows too, but I look at other clubs like us and think what have they done?

We have beaten loads of prem clubs in cup games (man u, liverpool, leeds, coventry, etc). We have been to 2 now 3 play off finals, a few semi finals in cups, and beaten wednesday loads of times.

My point being, it's never boring being a blade and I would never swap them for any other team, and i am so glad my bro had that red and white subbetteo team when he was little and chose United.

When we have bad times they hurt and the good times mean more because of these bad times.

I'm prayin we win Monday, I will cry if we do and I wont be able to explain to anyone who is not a blade the feelin I will have.

I'm gonna enjoy Monday, enjoy the day out until kick off anyway, then its out of my hands.

Even when I think about it i get goose bumps, I have really tryed not to get excited cos of the times we have been let down before but sod it, its happening, we are going to Wembley, and it will still hurt even if i dont get excited.

Come on Blades just once please do it for us, give us the day out we want and have wanted for a long time.... No more the nearly men.

I wouldn't choose any other club in the world to support.

The Atmosphere at the lane is the best feeling in the world, it truly does send shockwaves through my veins, and is one of few things that will never get old. The passion behind the players is always noticable, we win things, we play shit football and yet we win....

My point in all this is we are the BEST ****ING FANS in the country, possibly even in the world.

me too...up last 2 days at 6.30....not at all like me on a weekend!

Same here and been getting worse all week, up at daft o'clock this morning, by the time kick off comes I'll be a worn out wreck. This one does seem different though most Blades I know are not allowing themselves to become too excited much like the team we know the job isn't finished, let the Burnley lot do all the shouting for now we'll do it tomorrow after we have whupped their asses hopefully.

Haha i do things like that too. Usually i think of Wembley whilst trying to revise - not good!
