Where on earth do you get this view from - where ?The reason why there are bed wetting fans is relating to the fact that the end of the transfer window is 30th August but the season starts 3 weeks earlier.
We’re casting out net over high quality players in demand. Seems like we’re being told those players are interested in joining us but prefer to wait to consider their options.
We could walk away but seems we’re staying patient hoping to pick up some top players or top loans at the end of August.
We need at least 5 more players and I’m very confident we have plenty more players to bring in but it will be towards the end of the window.
So we’re starting the season weaker than we should be giving our rivals a head start. However on 31st August we will have a squad good enough to challenge for promotion.
Of course if we start poorly which is highly possible, then it could all backfire. Wilder comes under pressure, the players lose confidence and even with a good squad, they are so deflated they struggle to perform.
Given that I didn’t want him back, I’m actually feeling pretty sorry for him.Chief bedwetter: the manager.
The problem with this theory is that it works both ways - other Clubs will be looking for high quality players and we shouldn’t rule out losing Hamer, Blaster or even Jack Robinson before 30th August tooThe reason why there are bed wetting fans is relating to the fact that the end of the transfer window is 30th August but the season starts 3 weeks earlier.

It’s another beautiful morning! Be thankful & joyous!Where on earth do you get this view from - where ?
Amazing - I do hope you’re right of course , but wow I wish I had a tenth of your faith and belief .
Good point there. I’ve said Prince should go and that remains my stance. But to say all the blame lies with him would be wrong, it’s not a binary thing. Most roads lead to him but not all of themIt depends on how important United are in a person’s overall life. I am frustrated but cannot be sure where the problem lies.
It’s easy to blame the owner when maybe there are many other factors.
Wilder i can see the steam coming out of his ears.......he is getting let down by the clowns in charge.
When the shit hits the fan properly towards the end of the window,i would hate to be interviewing him.
Well you say that, but to some it’s an outlet for their views. Some of them it’s very important, others are an eight ball short of a game of poolRanting on social media isn't a good indicator to how deeply held or crucially import to their life someone's views are tbh!

That’s trueIt’s another beautiful morning! Be thankful & joyous!![]()
ThanksIt's based on common sense, logic and based on the past seasons under this owner,
however of course the fact that the owner wants out, means he may now do things that aren't in the interest of the club.
However what's the point in showing great ambition is signing in demand O'Hare and Burrows, if he's no interest in trying to be promoted.
Also it's a fact....that the transfer window ends 30th August 2024.
So the people working on loans/ buys are working to that date....not next week when the season starts.
True but under this owner we're only ever sold when we had better replacement line up.....so not concerned.
The last big sale was Berge to Burney and we replaced him with Hamer....who is better....so was a good piece of business.
Thanks
You’ve explained and I appreciate that
I don’t agree though - other than the TW closing date
I thought he was very diplomatic with his responses tonight….,even though his body language was furiousBedwetting manager.
Is he not a bed wetter then for having furious body language?I thought he was very diplomatic with his responses tonight….,even though his body language was furious
There’s a waiting list as long as the river MississippiIm joining the bed wetting crew! Where do I sign up.
He was furious inside but wasn’t crying like a spoilt child like some on here. He has a pair of bollox unlike a very high proportion of our fans at the momentIs he not a bed wetter then for having furious body language?
Or is it only the fans that can be bed wetters?
He’s a real man!!!He was furious inside but wasn’t crying like a spoilt child like some on here. He has a pair of bollox unlike a very high proportion of our fans at the moment![]()
You said itHe’s a real man!!!
How do you know he was furious inside? Did he tell you? Or could you 'just tell'? It's amazing how in tune with other people's emotions some of our fans are, so impressive. He was furious inside but wasn’t crying like a spoilt child like some on here. After years of being paid to analyse people’s body language…..yes, I could tell he was furiousHow do you know he was furious inside? Did he tell you? Or could you 'just tell'? It's amazing how in tune with other people's emotions some of our fans are, so impressive.

Don’t blow my coverYou’re going to be called Dr McNulty now……
Spot on imoThis^^
And I have to say it was only a matter of time.
He made some clear parameters in that interview after relegation was confirmed, he seemed absolutely furious but defiant that it would be better this time and the club would be ready to go.
And I’m sorry to say I was sure at the time he too was going to be as disappointed as I would be. It wasn’t prophetic to expect what was going to happen, it was obvious. The last three managers have been completely let down by the club in failing to deliver on what they had clearly promised.
And while there are still folk happy to excuse the owner and give any number of unfortunate excuses for his ineptitude it cannot be deemed rational to do so when those same amateurish, deceitful and completely unacceptable practices repeat themselves time and again.
I’m sick of hearing he can’t fund it. Takeover. Clubs for sale. New owners will spend. The reality of what we were facing this summer was unprecedented for this club in recent times and needed to be acted upon to keep the funding he needs to operate the club at Champ level. That is prem money…to produce champ level.
So while I sit here bubbling over the imminent sale of another of our bright talents to a bigger club with the “promise” of players coming in on loan I wonder how much longer the manager will hold his tongue.
He’s reflected on himself and his past errors, perhaps tweaked his public response to internal matters for the better of the club, but you cannot change the passion and personality of someone completely and it’s only a matter of time before things turn toxic.
And if/when that happens it will not end well.
Then there are the players. Agents. Ones who have arrived recently no doubt having been promised a certain level of competitiveness, told of who’s coming in….they too will be let down. And we end up with a repeat of last season, a manager deflated and angry, players the same, fans angry….and it was all so predictable.
I knew you’d say thatDon’t blow my cover![]()
Why….because of my body languageI knew you’d say that
