The main 3 factors are:
1: Trophies won
2: Seasons in the top flight
3: Historical average attendance

But here's also
4: Highest attendance
5: Level of away support
6: Finances, record transfer paid out/ record transfer received
7: Stadium size
8: Number of social media followers
9: Reputation
10: Matches played in Europe
11: Potential- size of a city and surrounding population
and there's usually a weighting towards current day....so any big club stats from pre war shouldn't be as significant.

The Premier League currently holds 20 clubs and when ever there's a study to decide based on size which 20 biggest clubs should be in the top flight
We always come either 18th or 19th, based on the factual measurements.

What a depressing interview , a week before the season starts and that’s the output from our manager .

I feel so frustrated for him , our club and its manager are seemingly being worn down and dying a death by a thousand cuts .

How anyone can defend the awful owner is totally beyond me - there is a saying in business that every organisation is perfectly designed to get the results it gets . The Prince has perfectly designed us to start the season on minus 2 points , to have a totally deflated manager a week before we start a new season , to have a threadbare fragile squad , and for our supporters to have no idea whatsoever of any plan in place to stabilise the ship , never mind rectify and build . All this after having 3 out of 5 years in the worlds top league with 2 parachute payments to come .

Never mind bedwetters , many on here will blindly clap us to destruction.
