If we can afford to sign Beattie until the end of the season, there is absolutely no excuse for selling any of the current first team squad.
Monty, I could accept because he's on the fringes and we have good cover in central midfield.
Regarding the others. Danny has said he doesn't want to lose anyone and now is the time for McCabe to back HIS manager's judgement.
Never mind waiting until the last minute and see what offers come in. Then scrabbling round to sign a replacement (probably on loan after the deadline).
He should just come out now and say "That's it now, too late, we're not selling anyone until June at the earliest".
Then let Wilson get on with getting promotion.

Is there a remote possibility, that BT's signing could be for the reason that someone is leaving and BT is the replacement!
