Danny wilson comes home from the training ground and finds james beattie sat in his favourite arm chair, smoking his best cigars, drinking his finest malt and being straddled by his daughter. That is why he didnt start! Incidenttally richard cresswell had been making a sandwich in the kitchen and left the knife in the butter. Yes i have been drinking.

but you make a good point why did he start that bag of shit up front????????????????????????????????????????????

Mr wilson i will await your apology

My three year old just said to me "never mind daddy, we can always win another day" that poor sod has a lifetime of this shit to look forward to.

game changed when Cresswell and beattie came on Cresswell a nice goal and Beattie's header to set up Lowton's goal.
What was Porter and O'Halloran doing in the first half.O'Halloran certainly won't have impressed his home club with that kind of showing.

But the million dollar question is why didnt danny see this? He takes quinn off who for me was the best player of the first half and was trying to supply the strikers with quality balls into the box. Cress and/or Beats would have put us two or threevup in the firstv20 mins

To be fair Cresswell wasn't fully fit and Beattie has been poor all season. Hindsight aside, I think he had little choice other than to go with Porter and O'Halloran

Have to say... I thought Quinn put a couple of good balls in, but otherwise he was horribly poor.

Quinn put a couple of crosses across the 6 yard box, what more could a striker wish for ? anyone taking a gamble would have scored as Stevenage did with a similar cross, they took a gamble and scored via a own goal.

i must go to games in an alternate reality.. i thought quinn was shit.. as usual

Absolutely! Any half decent striker wud av buried them crossesor even just connected with them cress shud av started and assessed during the game. He's hardly an impact player is he

Have u ever played football comptetitively? The balls that quinn put into the box in the first 20 mins were a (half decent) strikers dream

he couldnt find his arse with both hands today. atrocious. someone in the bogs at half time said... hmm so we arent a one man team after all... we were a two man team its just mcdonald doesnt know who to pass it to now....

ah sorry i misunderstood.. didn't realise that only ex pro's were allowed to criticise.. i missed the first ten minutes queuing outside. what about the other 35 minutes then??.. he seemed to lose the ball and fall down a lot for the time i was watching it

Quinn was abysmal from beginning to end, as was Williamson, Maguire and most of the rest.

Not an ex pro pal merely a sunday footballer for many years now a coach, and i can assure you the deliveries quinn made in tje first 20 mins or so were absolute quality.

Yes, aside from one fantastic cross along the deck in first half that ohalloran n porter just watched. Brilliant by Quinn but he was utterly atrocious all match in general. Willo was a total waste of space all game. As for harry he almost bursts into tears every time an opponent pushes him off the ball. Pathetic.

Sky commented on how stevenage had to shut down Quinn and said his crosses must leave him wondering how the strikers can't get on the end of them.
No wonder when they were Porter and O'Halloran neither showed up in the first half they didn't attack the ball once it went into the box.

It seemed to me in the first half that Lowton and Maguire let the occassion get to them. I've rarely seen either play so poorly. Harry, don't fanny about with the ball in front of goal, hasn't Morgs taught you anything?

My son is now 13 and he has seen one promotion to the Premiership AND two relegations and a play off final defeat. I explained to him today that he has to expect the worst and then he won't be disappointed. At the end of the game I texted my mate in London who has been a Blade as long as me and his response was 'I feel sick'.

That is what your kid has to look forward to. I think I might have to report you to the NSPCC (or whatever PC name it has these days).
