I've probably not been keeping up to speed on the lower leagues (other than this season through necessity) but when did all these shitty little non-league clubs like Burton, Stevenage, Crawley and Fleetwood get into the league?

We really have to get promoted ASAP. We need to be playing against bigger, better teams.

Yep, we're down among the dead men now. We had the greatest chance in modern history to bounce straight back up and we blew it....collectively. The Ched thing was the killer, and maybe his goals masked just how limited we were as a squad but now we're Chedless, we don't have a good squad, we don't have a board of directors who care and we have a dwindling fan base so we're where we deserve to be. I'm in total agreement that we shouldn't be at the same level as the clubs you mention, we're a much bigger club, we have more resources, we should attract better players but we don't and the folks who're responsible should be ashamed. They aren't, that's sad.

As to signing that fat useless bastard in the pictures well maybe that's where we are as a club right now, or maybe we're at year 5, have just qualified for Europe as anticipated and this is all just a bad dream
