Going for broke to win the game or sitting back and parking the bus are 2 extremes, they are not the only 2 options.

There is a lot of space between abstinence and alcoholism.

And, tbf to Chris, is wasn't all-out reckless attacking when we were down to 10.

Leon was tucking in & defending down the left, Clayton Donaldson down the right (allowing Brooksy & Samir to run at & commit defenders in more central areas). And look at where Leon was defending when they scored.

As to whether they were the "right" players to be defending in those positions, that's another matter. But if CW had adopted a defensive mindset, & brought defensive players on, the outlets wouldn't have been there, & we'd have been relentlessly under the cosh.

I don’t disagree really. I felt that the change that didn’t work most was Brooks for Duff. Duff was playing well and a lot less tired than Billy. Brooks creates opportunity up front, but tends to hold the ball too long from midfield and lose it. As a result we lost the ability to play through the thirds. Brooks for Billy and 10 minutes later maybe Sammy for Duff would still have been aggressive without conceding midfield. With Billy, Brooks, Don and Leon on the field - as you say Leon ended up much deeper and we actually reduced our scoring probability.

Anyway, as Barnsley Mick said opinions are like backsides - we’ve all got one but they’re probably best kept to ourselves. I was still shaking with excitement at the end of the game, so you can’t ask for much more.

Exactly this. Its not as though we were hit on the break, we were defending a progressive attack and still conceded so the argument of going for a point instead of going for 3 is quite irrelevant for this game.

Blades, please continue to attack and excite at every given minute!
