To be honest I don't want us to go back up again next season without some serious investment into the first team. We have come down with a team weaker than the one that took us up and the word from Wilder is free agents and loans only, other than some small fees, unless we sell first. We will likely still be as weak at the start of the season.
We'd be humiliated again if we went up and likely just as crap, if not worse than last season.
Why bother?
I'd rather spend the next 4-5 years in the Championship team picking up 2-3 young, quality players each season who we can coach and develop or sell on for larger fees than we paid for them, and reinvest that money in a replacement and strengthen another starting place with a quality player.
Yes, it will take time and patience, but that's far better than a third season in a row of being beaten by everyone. I can't stomach the idea of losing 9-1 again on aggregate to the team in 19th, who were arguably as bad as us, and battered us in our own back yard.
Balls to promotion and balls to the Premier League. Balls to short term fixes.
