Why would either his current team agree to that when they can have money upfront?
Why would he agree to that when he's likely to be able to earn more money moving elsewhere?

The only way we sign BBD is if, ignoring all available logic and common sense, he wants to only join us and will do whatever is necessary to make it happen.

Curious, seen a lot about how we won't be able to afford the fee but no mention of what that fee could possibly be.

Speaking purely financial:
  • Parachute payments
  • Sale of Anel
  • Sale of Souza
  • Loan wages gone for Macca
  • Loan wages gone for Larouci
  • Loan wages gone for Holgate
  • Loan wages gone for Archer
  • Possibly wages gone for Wes, Baldock (hope not), Norwood and Bash.
I don't see this being too unrealistic from him to sign in the summer. The Prince has always reinvested player sales back into the squad and I wouldn't be surprised if BBD is at the top of Wilders list with Oli Mac looking like he's heading out the door. I agree they'd both work brilliant together in the Championship, but if not, he's a cracking replacement.
 
Assuming Forest aren’t relegated…. Villarreal will sell him to them for stupid money.

We will probably go back to Forest for Joe Worrall - decent centre half / captain material. Realistically, that is the market we are in now I’m afraid.

There's the small matter of what he wants to do though isn't there. He left the Champo behind a year ago and has spent this season playing in La Liga and the Prem.. slow at first but now on the up again. A move back to the Champ is not going to be high on his list of preferred options

I admire your commitment to not believing anything that the mainstream media tells us. I didn’t think it stretched so far as whether loan players had option to buy clauses in their agreement, but here we are.

Well it was just reflective of what was reported by all media, mainstream or otherwise. The big spoiler was BBD himself confirming it in the interview that was posted right above it.
But I suppose that could have been deepfaked by Radio Sheffield and the club.

No one knows what when the deal was originally agreed, even if the club, player and manager have all confirmed there's no option to buy.

I think he's in the category of Henderson , MGW , Doyle , McAtee and any other quality loan we've enjoyed -here today , gone tomorrow , unattainable
 
I honesty think united will have had talks with him and maybe his agent .Lets be honest he did fuck all at blackburn in his last season and cant get a game for villarreal and hes had a purple patch for us so cant see a stampede for him.Hes probley a championship player at best but stands out because we have average players
 
We all laughed away the prospect of Kieffer Moore but he's scored 31 in 79 apps in the Championship - if Ipswich get to the PL and ditch him , we should be first in the queue

Both Dr Fauci and Kevin Gage have said United wouldn’t include an option to buy clause as BBD wouldn’t drink his bleach!

Not totally correct. Some on here thought KM would have been a very good player for us if we has signed him in the summer. However some on here are a bit snobby about him though and think hes just a carthorse which does him a large disservice. He's a good player. He ain't doing bad at Ipswich is he.

I'm sure we will have at least made our interest known if he were to be made available for transfer.
 
Maybe we can have thorntons invisible mate sit in the board room and full us in with whats going on
