It's like to think BBD is the starter/first 11 choice for the left, but a young raw loanee will be competition. Chong v Donovan on the right, BBD v a n other on the left.

He’s a very good fit.

Clearly wants to be here.

He’s a hard worker and he has some quality.

Has spoken fondly of the club on prior occasions and this shows by the fact he turned down two teams with which he had an association.

I wouldn’t be surprised if his goals and assists ended up in a similar ball park to Gus, even if he didn’t quite match him.

It also brings enough experience so we’re not say there with two relative kids on the wing.

On a note serious note, it has to be a good sign that he chose United in reference to the potential points deduction side because it bodes well that he chose us over Derby and Stoke.

I also think cutting in from the left he'll be brilliant. Hamer took that role before but it's definitely BBD's best asset as we all know. I also love his passion! Bit like Marcelo there, his goal celebrations were definitely my favorite ever! Especially the goal v Sunderland in the play offs! I'd love a Marcelo up top now with BBD in the left!

He's actually got a similar output between his 2 stints with us as Hamer had last season.
Gus - 37 games 5 goals 12 assists
BBD - 34 games 10 goals 4 assists, half of which in the prem.

Obviously not as good or exciting as Gus, but He's definitely capable of putting up similar numbers throughout the season especially back on the left
