Big fan of Batsman. Sadly we're probably more likely to see Batman upfront for us than this lad, due him being on about £90k a week (from what a quick Google tells me).

Although he’s never been hugely prolific. He’s got many qualities which would fit in with our system pretty well imo. Good feet and great technique for a bigger lad.

Just don’t think we’d get anywhere near his wages when you consider we’re being blown out the water by Fulham for a league 1 left back. This isn’t a criticism of the club either. He must be on 70-80k+ so for that reason I’d rather us go for someone like Dennis.

What do you think his wages are ? £20 million fee plus minimum £90k per week so over a 4 year deal that would cost us £38.2 million (transfer fee plus wage).... we aren’t there yet. 3 years in the prem then we might start talking along those lines.

Now a loan deal with a % if wages we could do but Chelsea need the cash.

I think he's worth the £20m transfer fee - but the wages no chance.

Take my biased glasses off - if McBurnie is worth £16/18m that we reportedly paid, then Batshuyai is definitely worth a bit more.

Is the wages thing going to be the major stumbling block for any potential transfer or can we break the structure for a good centre forward/player with top level experience?

I'd love someone like a Salomon Rondon, Mario Mandzukic, Odion Ighalo etc. Can't see fees being out of our grasp for these type of players but they'll all be on high wages (esp those who have played in China)

Would also be good to have someone with bags of experience like Leicester did with Cambiasso
