He makes some very good driving runs from deep. He's hard to tackle. Great game by him

Typical Bash really, puts everything on the line for his team, enthusiasm, heart & passion come standard from him but he has skill & ability too & today it shone through.

Really? Dedicated, passionate, would die for the shirt definitely, but we will struggle if he plays in midfield.

He’s extremely limited and constantly showed that today. We must have better players in the middle if we’re to create anything. He’s not good enough to play in midfield at our level.

Yes I went today. No I’m not a pig. Yes I do appreciate everything he has done for us.

People are only saying he played well. Nobody thinks he's the long term solution I wouldn't imagine

If rather he played than most of the other midfielders we have
At least he's quick and can defend

I'll hold my hands up and say I have been very critical of him this season. He looked v poor in the Swansea game in particular, so i'm pleased to hear he played well today. Not sure he is the long term answer, but he works his ass off for the club and deserves the shirt for the next game.

Would be a good addition in a CDM role as an anchor man imo. Not too gifted technically, but an excellent defender. CDM role would suit his ability to defend. And the technical limitations he has wouldnt be too much of an issue as he would be knocking it up to players with the technical ability. All my own opinion of course.

True. The latter is a fair point, but I still don’t think he played that well today. He gave it away in some key areas and his passing was generally pretty rubbish, though he put some great tackles in.

At least he wants the ball though and he’s not afraid to get stuck in, get the ball and try something.

As I’ve often said, if only Baxter had had Bash’s attitude and professionalism...
