Safe to say that Bash is universally adored across our fanbase but many of us have said that probably needed that 'big' moment to seal legendary status.

Was today it? I think it very well could be if that is the goal that gives us the decisive edge in the promotion race.

Considering how much of a stinker he had first half today I had a feeling he might score. This game pretty much summed up his Blades career to date. A horrid start with all of us wondering what on Earth he could offer us, then all of a sudden BANG! and he has never looked back.

A bloke who gives absolutely everything, every time he plays, making the absolute most of what he has.

There is a reason that Bash deserved MOTM. We had 3 good opportunities and Bash had them all. Nobody else in our squad would have been anywhere near being there for any of those chances.

Headless Giraffe or Bambi on Ice he may be but MOTM is the man who most affects the result - it took him 3 attempts - 3 more than anybody else managed, but this was his game - even more so because he was totally shite in the first half!
