But it wasn't due to a lack of strength. I just genuinely don't see any upgrade in putting in Robinson above Davies no matter who we play. I can understand the argument with Goode as he's a massive bloke who is known for putting his head in but Robinson isn't that kind of player.
Fair point but I was thinking like for like at LCB. Thought Goode was a right footer vying for Egan or Bashams spot though obviously that wouldn't prevent him for playing in that position.

I can’t believe that there is a ‘cat in hells’ chance that Robinson would even be considered for selection against WBA.I think that both Robinson and Verrips must still have nightmares about their sorry performances that evening at the Hawthorns earlier this season. If we do decide on a change, there is a strong case to give Goode his debut tonight, even though it means we would sacrifice a left footed defender.I do not usually advocate defensive changes simply to accommodate the threat of the opposition, but on this occasion, injuries permitting,i would go for :

Foderingham,Bogle,Basham,Goode,Egan,Stevens

There isn’t one, cos he’s shite

I know we've had our issues in the last couple of seasons with the high ball and crosses but the stick Egan gets for his aerial prowess from a few is unfair imho.

One of the reasons we signed him was that his stats were the one of the best in the league in this regard.

I acknowledge he's been caught out a few times over the last two seasons but I'd never leave him out if fit.

I assume the OP meant Anne Robinson at LCB. Otherwise it's got to be a wind up

He didn’t have a choice, that said cracking game from Jack. Handled the threat(?) they posed really well.
He did. Could have played Goode. Robinsons a car crash with the ball at his feet but he's better in the air than Davies IMO. It's just an opinion on a forum. His tackle in front of Bruce got us going a bit after a slow start.

I'm not saying he's the answer but horses for courses. If Davies plays and West Brom go long I think it's the wrong choice. Davies was at fault for Brums goal last Friday IMO but it doesn't get mentioned. Had that been Robinson he'd have been hung out to dry.

What the fuck do I know mate?
