Doesn't exactly excite me, knocking on a bit.

How has he been for the Blades this season?
 



I think you will get a mixed response on this. I think he was played out of position for the most part however he slowed play down for me.

Unfortunately we never dropped Doyle or McDonald to judge him better, howeverI am glad we are not looking to re-sign him.

Crap......couldn't hack it in the MLS and came back for a last pay day.....don't give him another one.

Poor. His legs couldn't carry out most, if not all of the things his brain wanted them to do. He often drifted out of position and got in the way of the rest of the team. He still had the desire to get on the ball at every opportunity, but unfortunately, not the ability to do anything of use with it once he had it.

His passing accuracy is also dire.

In case you were wondering, I'm not a fan of his.

Old, slow, ex-old firm and looking for one last to contract to keep the beer money coming in.

Carried such an aura of entitlement and confidence, I thought it might be what the team needed. Unfortunately his ability and effort didn't match the ego, not to mention the way his role in the side (whether it was what he was supposed to be doing or not) completely removed any pretence of tactical balance.
 
Dont ask Barry Robson ,you will get a biased view ,the guy loves himself ,hes in a minority though.
 
He'll be a good player if you play him right. I'm in a minority, but sad we're losing one of our few playmakers.

Seriously, I agree with sheffielder (never thought i'd say that). He was played on the flanks then worst of all behind Kitson :eek:

Had Wilson dropped Doyle or McDonald and played Robson central I think he would've done just fine. Decent player but is a 60minute man .

I'll be extremely pleased to see the back of him. Has a decent shot on him without scoring many, takes a lovely penalty, slow in mind and body, but quick to criticise others when things go wrong on the pitch.

As is mentioned above, he's a 60 minute man - in his United career since January we've seen about 60 minutes total of a good player.
 
If Barry Robson was half the player he seems to think he is, he'd be a brilliant signing.

As it is he's slow, positionally indisciplined and, worst of all, convinced that he's the best player at the club.

I've no feelings either way about Aberdeen but hope for your sake he signs somewhere else. Wednesday would be the ideal club - convinced of their own brilliance when in fact they're shite.
 
Seemed really good when he arrived and tailed off but then so did the rest of the squad you could say.
 
Tubs of Lard go down well at the dons. Dean Windass was a hero up there. :D
 
Literally looks as if walking, let alone running, is extremely difficult for him. Surely he'll just retire.

He`s terrible, really awful.
He`s just a tosser too, saying on the night of the home semi v yeovil that it doesnt matter to him or the team how the season ended ie faded out, ...in other words...wanker....jesus, little piggy danny brought us some total shit didnt he?
 
Heya Aberdeenblade.

My second team is the Dons. (my dads side of the family comes from there he ws one of 14 brothers) Keep saying i am going to go up and watch a game (and visit my dads grave. The one next to the ground). Trouble is its eithe a night stop over by train or a 12 hour round car drive. 365 miles to Aberdeen.

Anyway Robsons levs were tireing and youll get a good 80 mins from him. Perhaps less ifhe played 3 days before.
He does run all over the place. Always wants the ball and can pass well.
Sometimes it goes nowhere but is that a bad pass or our useless players not knowing where to run too..

If we keep that fast winger and the young striker Robson will find them with passes.
Dont know his wages but if Aberdeen can afford them get him. Wont be disapointed.

Regards Widnas if only we had played him at the PO final against wolves. Ffs
