Can’t argue with that !I don’t think there are two players in any other prem team who have contributed towards their teams success more than these two this season
They are absolutely wonderful

Alexander-Arnold and Robertson?
Media hype? Against your judgement of seeing them once this season? The OP was about contributing to the teams success not about your preference. I wouldn't swap our full backs for Liverpool's but I'm not so blinkered as to not recognise their importance to their team.Well I've only had the one opportunity of watching these two at the Lane earlier this season.
Not overly impressed. Of course I could go along with the usual media hype but I'll choose not to.
George and Enda every day for me.

Both great players but not sure they've got the defensive side of the game required to play for us. They'd have twice as much defending to do than they're used to! Robertson maybe. As much as I rate/like Enda & George, I’d happily pull the pair of them in a rickshaw all the way to Anfield in just my pants to swap them for Liverpool’s fullbacks.
You really wouldn’t take the best two fullbacks in the world? As much as I love the pair we have that would be pretty mental. Both great players but not sure they've got the defensive side of the game required to play for us. As stated, Robertson possibly. AA suspect defensively, he just doesn't get tested regularly. Again, the OP was about contributing to the success of the team. AA contributes through assists via crosses and free kicks. He's not as good a defender as Baldock IMO. Must be mental me.You really wouldn’t take the best two fullbacks in the world? Aye as a Champions League winner and Premier League winner to be at 21 years old, not tested and not good enough. As stated, Robertson possibly. Nobody said he wasn't good enough smart arse. Would you swap him for Baldock?TAA not good enough for United. Priceless, this place![]()

And defensively? Is this a serious question? Yes, absolutely. That’s no slight on Baldock, who Is looking great and has had a really impressive season, but TAA’s excellent, and is substantially better in terms of delivery into the box.
Never said otherwise, just wouldn't swap him.TAA is still the better player, though obviously that’s the weaker part of his game.

we will inevitably be upgrading on the current XI this summer, as Wilder wants to constantly improve and as he keeps reminding us “isn’t one for sentiment”.
No I've misread your statistics. I do think Baldock's a better defender. The statistics relate to two completely different teams stylistically. Eg, one will see more of the ball in an attacking situation than the other, so in that sense the statistics are biased. I was agreeing that his delivery is better than Baldock's. I also take your point that there's no room for sentiment and if improvement can be made long term then players need to be moved on. For clarity I think AA is a good player(see my first post), i just have doubts about him defensively.Fair enough – I thought your question implied you thought Baldock was a better player defensively, apologies for misreading that and bombarding you with needless statistics.
In terms of not-swapping players, that is a bit of a dangerous path to go down – we will inevitably be upgrading on the current XI this summer, as Wilder wants to constantly improve and as he keeps reminding us “isn’t one for sentiment”.
What about todger size ?TAA is still the better player, though obviously that’s the weaker part of his game.

Yes but how good would they be without Virgil looking after them.Alexander-Arnold and Robertson?
Couldn't agree more.Yes but how good would they be without Virgil looking after them.
