He had complications in his other knee, I think they said cartilage. Wilson recently said he keeps getting setbacks.

Lecs tweeted on Feb 12 to say "I don't know" when asked when he'd be back. But again I think Wilson said they hoped he'd be able to join first team training about now.

It's just over 12 months since the original injury.

There's only 7 weeks of the regular season left, so I can't see him contending at all this year.

Did he sign a 2 year contract ? If so, it'll be up in the summer, not sure what the club will do

In the past, we'd have probably given them a short-term deal while there was still chance of recovery. Now though, given even the slightest amount of wiggle-room re: the wage bill is valuable in the new financial fair-play world, not sure that's any way feasible.
