And I'm not sure what you mean by Championship players, they could both play in the Premiership now, let alone when they've fully developed. That's why Spurs wanted them. Just because they might be going on loan to the Championship aged 19 and 21 doesn't mean they'll never play any higher.

what makes me laugh about all these 'ITK ' posters on Blades Mad is that they never give specifics. 'We are signing 3 players,one going out 'Kyles to Leeds','Monty to Leeds' allbased on rumours stsrting from atext.

Beighton Blade often adds'fuel' to the fire and the fact he has just said 'wait until Christmas' would suggest he has a get out clause in case nothing happens.

If the the Kyles,Monty etc go to Leeds...so what . They aren't our players and we got £8mill for two players who Rednapp obviously doesn't think they are good enough to grace his first team squad. They arenothing to do with us now so people need to let it go.

As for BB's 'wait until Christmas comment' why not elaborate as with all the apparant texts going about ,everyone will soon find out anyway so it cant be a secret. So BB,say what you know and we can alljudge if you are right in the coming months.Or areyou stirring as normal ?

Any truely 'ITK' surely wouldn't betray a confidence and reveal something on a message board unless they had permission so why just publish the full details or shut up.

There aren't our players anymore, so nothing we can do about it. As far as i can see the only point to be frothing about is whether if they are available on loan, then why aren't we in for them? Unless of course we burnt our bridges with spurs rather acrimoniously over the last minute Walker recall.

It could all work out in our favour anyway. Imagine walker gets a last minute equaliser at the lane, refuses to celebrate, Leeds captain berates him for this and Walker chins the captain and gets sent off, spitting in Grayson's face as he walks off the pitch. He gets returned to spurs, and no other club will touch him with a bargepole, accept of course, us.

Forgive me for pointing out the obvious, but the Kyles are not our players anymore. A substantial offer was made, we needed the cash, the deal was done and they went to Spurs. Therefore, how is this bad news coming OUT of the club, and how are McCabe and Blackwell responsible, assuming of course that this isn't horse-shit like 90% of other rumours that come to nowt? It would be disappointing seeing them at Elland Road, and I doubt if we'd have ever sold them direct to Leeds, but that is the crazy world of football for you. Rumours are taken as fact and a lot of nonsense is talked and reported (Did Paddy sign for QPR last Tuesday as I was told he would, for example)...

Can't really see that Leeds can afford to buy either player, the only news coming out of Leeds is that they have lost their striker on a free to everton, (i thought that this sort of thing only happened at SUFC??). Can't believe that Redknapp would sell both of them, KW played a couple of games last season for them and did OK. Naughton I noticed couldn't even get in the Boro side when he was on loan there. could he be one that doesn't fulfill his potential?

This might be too much of a leap, and it is total speculation on my point but.....

If Bills' post earlier in the week is correct Leeds couldn't be handed a £10-15 Million bill from the IR which they can't afford and will put them out of business.
Is it a bridge too far to say they may as well go for "shit or bust" this season in an attempt to get to the PL within which this bill is easily affordable?
