Somebody had to be held to account for some of the substitutions.

Someone should have been birched for some of them

I think we've been top of the league in terms of distance covered. Possibly a case of not using energy effectively, partly for tactical reasons.

I think there should be a distinction between 'distance covered' and 'shadows chased'. We are probably smashing records on the latter as we never have the ball for more than 5 seconds.

Setting aside the rather unnecessary “Cheers, see ya” statement, seems a strange move to lose some of these long term staff.

Henderson on Darren Ward in T’Star:-

“The best goalkeeping coach I've ever worked with. He's brought me on leaps and bounds in every aspect of the game - mentally, physically, tactically - and the sessions are brilliant.

“I look forward to coming into work every day, and long may that continue. If I could work with Wardy for the next couple of years, I really think I can elevate to one of the best goalkeepers in the world.”

Hopefully the Prince’s chosen replacement is better.

He should walk into a job at Man Utd then on that basis. Henderson could cover his annual salary with a weeks' wages, might be a worthwhile investment for him if he wasn't just blowing smoke up Ward's arse.
