These idiots will just as well sleep walk us to league one rather than make us outside bets to the play offs.

It made me so angry ther second half.

My blood is literally fucking boiling.

It was so obvious what was going to happen. At 3-1 we just walked into it, allowed a basketball game.

Idiocy from the bench and the field of play.

Should have been looking up now, thinking a good end to the Christmas period and we’re in with a shout.

Instead these fools have blown it. Again. It’s like West Brom didn’t happen.

Annoying thing is, the results went our way today if we were looking up, yet we couldn’t muster the professionalism to leapfrog a team that were in touching distance.

I want 15 from the next 15 from these tosspots to even remotely forgive that second half.

I was thinking the same when I was looking at the results and table before we kicked off. Thought this is one we could do with winning as it would put us in the middle pack which is tight, so another win would really start us moving.

But no, they bottled it again

At the risk of beating the same bush, thought we missed Peck in midfield again. We just have no control without him in there. Arblaster just doesn't have the legs to get around the pitch and cover the same ground. I'd love to see the data on how much ground he covers by comparison. I reckon if you added Arblaster and Ridewald together you'd have about what Peck covers.

I’ve come home from watching that shite to see big fat quiz of the year 2025 on the telly.

Even money which is more stale and embarrassing for everyone involved.

4 points off the drop with Stoke away up next..

We are not out of trouble at all..
It unfortunately seems that way doesn't it. We are so inconsistent these past few weeks. But I've always felt we had a soft underbelly now for years. Even with a 2 goal cushion in the 90th min I'm not convinced. I've just seen this shite happen too many times with United.

You're winning 3-1, just keep doing what you're doing ffs.

Before I make my next comment, I back Wilder and am glad he's back here, I don't think there's currently a better man for the job. Like anyone, he has flaws.

I guarantee Wilder told them at HT to defend the lead and not press for more goals. I'll say we've got better in that we seem to look to score more than once before doing it, but ffs that shit is for when you get to 85mins. You can't just sit back when you're winning with a good amount of time remaining.

I'm fucking pissed right off with that tbh. Especially given it's Wrexham and Kieffer Moore (who for the record, I wanted us to keep) and the animosity there.

On a positive, Bamford could be the signing of the season. I hope he doesn't think fuck this in January and shows some loyalty, because there will 100% be clubs sniffing.

despite last nights debacle i dont think we will go down i think 4 signings will come in next month to steady the ship but also think 3 loans will be sent back and hamer will be sold been obvious last 4 games hes off not a lot of effort at all from him

We were never out of it. That blip in results put us ahead of the pack but only the complete fantasists thought anything higher than mid table was possible.

We're a middling team, messy squad, lack of a real 'thing' that defines what it is that the team does well. But we've got some very good players and we'll win a good amount of home games. It is what it is, 56 points ish, shrug and move on

I think it's the nature of the loss that has pissed people off mate.

I am normally a clapper but rather like West Brown, what we saw yesterday was unacceptable.
It wasn't unacceptable. I can't even imagine what a truly unacceptable performance would look like; players visibly giving up and not trying?

I'm pissed off, and I'm fine with other people being pissed off. It's just inevitable that every defeat turns into a referendum on Wilder as a manager, and all the weirdos come out to repeat their moronic takes. Again.

You can want him in or out, but he's a decent manager at this level. Maybe we can do better, although it might go wrong; we know all this really, but it doesn't stop the endless rubbish.

Anyone would think it’s a forum where people are free to express their opinions. There will be those who regard you as a weirdo with moronic takes on things. There will be others who agree with you. There will be many who couldn’t care less what you think. That’s how it works. If it upsets you, maybe do a crossword or something instead.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the assessment of the performance.

It's true that certain posters can't wait to stick the boot in, and some of the comments have been unreasonable, but I also think a lot of reasonable posters (which I would like to think includes me) are royally chuffed off with what was served up in that 2nd half and it is legitimate to ask questions.

I am firmly Wilder in, but he needs to change things more quickly when the team is struggling.

I think he showed last year that it's not really in his bag to make big, in game changes to counter opposition specifics. Even in his first spell, we kind of did what we did (very well), opposition be damned.

Doesn't make him a bad manager and he's had a fantastic career. But I think it does put him a step below where a lot of United fans think he is

That's a fair assessment. Ironically he was regarded as an innovator (along with Knill) when we got things cooking with the overlapping CBs, even though I am sure Cotterill did the same with Brizzle a few seasons before, but it's true that he can be very rigid when plan A isn't working.
