FREEMAN BRAYFORD EDGAR HARRIS

Freeman has over the season been our least bad defender so I can't see the point dropping him. Brayford played well at CB when required last season and sounds like he's back to fitness, no way he can be worse than Collins, McKevely pr McGahey. Edgar turned in a few decent performances before his injury. Harris hasn't impressed since his return but look at the alternatives, maybe get Kieran Wallace back in if he doesn't start performing soon?

Basham wouldn't ideally be in my starting XI but given how shockingly bad Hammond, Coutts and Reed have been in central midifeld I think he's got to go back in midifeld, preferebly alongside Baxter with JCR and Adams out wide. Keep the fish on up front and coinflip for Sharp or Done.

I'd get in amongst the lot of them, take those whose attitude has been poor, sling them in the reserves, get them in for 8 hours a day, get them doing menial tasks, send them on mind numbing spirit crushing long runs, and fine them for any form of dissent and force them out of the club.

There's no real mystery to Wallace being out of the side. Harris is our first-choice left back and as soon as he was fit got thrown straight back into the side. Why he was rushed back so soon and whether he's better than Wallace are two good questions, but the basic reason behind Harris replacing Wallace is simple.

Wallace was cover for Harris whilst he was injured, some might say he did enough to keep the shirt, Adkins must have thought otherwise.

I think he needs to go back to what was working earlier in the season, sharp and Sammon up front Baxter and coutts in midfield Edgar and McGahey at the back. Not saying that's in any way good but we were getting results.

Thank you. I made this point numerous times early in the season and his supporters gave me a right slating on here insisting he was one of our better players.

His mate on the other side of the defence is generally no better and is another one that seems to have fan favourite status along with McNulty who I'm sure now will be the answer to all our problems after scoring three in a division even worse than ours.
