I guess that's kind of the point. He's not done enough to displace some under performing players that DO make the first team and bench, so the best for him is to get out on loan somewhere where he has a better chance to play.

I don't think it will be written in the agreement that he has to play each loan game he's available for but both clubs will have entered the agreement on the basis that he's capable of pushing his way into first team action during his time there

With McCallum and Davies probably not going to feature again this season that's 2 of the 8 that miss out sorted. Think it's pretty obvious Matos and Ogbene will be another 2 but who are the last 4?

Hjelde can cover LB and LCB if needed so can honestly see Mee not making the squad unless he feels Bindon could switch to RCB if anything happens to Tanganga then may leave out McGuiness. That's 5 so far.

Another 1 of the MF's surely must miss out so got to be Soumare surely unless he thinks Blaster needs a rest. That's 6.

Chong and Ings would make 8.
