I would hope at the very least we see another LB come in to help us with the loss of McCallum.

We need another DM or CM to help cover Jairo. Although Soumare is now back too.

Unfortunately you can't help but think that had we clawed ourselves just that bit closer to the top 6 the board might be keener to chuck some more money at us.
I can kinda understand a bit of hesitation right now. And yet it's still "possible" with 2 pts per game to maybe sneak top 6th.
But it's of the more long shots. Ideally if your making a late push right now you want to be no more than about 6 or 7 points off.

I don't think we will do it. But I will say the last 2 performances have shown that we can be one of the better teams in the division on our day.
Make it consistent and yeah we can get in the mix. But that's been the issue. And that is likely what is making the board not just chuck money at it this Jan.

No chance we sign a striker or a winger. 2 signings max imo. Central midfielder and a defender. Whether that changes to a left back now instead of a centre half then we’ll see. I wouldn’t be bothered if we didn’t sign anyone, for me it needs to be someone who will be with us next season not just next 4 months, seems a bit pointless, we aren’t going down and in all likeliness won’t be top 6.

Honestly, RND hasn't done badly at QPR -according to other fans. If he's fit & we can recall him, I'd recall him for back-up to Burrows. Given the extent of what maybe McCallum's injury.

Think we are ok at CB, with Bindon back & Tanganga back from suspension. Mee isn't a bad third choice & McGuiness -whilst not filling me with confidence- has looked improved.

I agree to a CM -to back up Reidewald and given Tom Davies is injured, again. Do feel for him. Also, takes some pressure of Arblaster and Peck.

I also agree on a winger, given Chong is crap. Ogbene, less said the better. But, at the same time, I like Brooks on the right & O'Hare or Gus on left.

Bamford's back so wouldn't waste a loan on a striker. Also, if we go back to 4-4-2, he's paired well with Cannon.

Getting some of the wage bill & youth out for playing time whilst keeping the squad [better assets together] is a win as others have said...

Yeah and what's happened since then? Momentum has been lost and play offs even more improbable.

We shouldn't be looking at short term solutions. This window is prepping for a huge summer. The more outs we can secure the better.

Bamford is all we've got.
We have no other CF.
That's what Wilder said.
And he was right.
It was the same last January when we had only Moore.
But he spent is money on a cannon that won't fire.
So he must be happy with only one.
