It's fine as a colour for the shirt, but what absolute melt decided on black shorts? Kit design and choice is, it seems, operated by morons who place total emphasis on the aesthetic of the design and zero thought to the practicality. And what absolute tool at the Lane said, yes that's OK without pointing out that both kits had black shorts?

Guaranteed we will actually bring out a green pair of shorts for the away kit as the season gets going. Then they wont be available to buy.

At least all the items in this kit look like they belong together.

The shirt/shorts/socks combo for the home kit makes you look like the poor sod who forgot his PE kit and had to raid the lost property.

I preferred the purple change shorts that went with the purple away shirt. I might be wrong but I think the only time we wore that combo was pre-season vs Rotherham.

I don’t hate the colours of our kit. Adidas haven’t as yet fucked about with our identity. We have stripes on the front. I agree with the badge bit in fairness but it isn’t black anyway so it’s irrelevant.

I would’ve obviously preferred stripes on the back or a red back instead of white but it’s not going to happen, nobody is going to die from it, it’s a fucking football kit.
