This is the internet, a place where on the whole people talk crap...hide behind alaises and talk even more crap. Theres not that many people actually know each other.

You either take the attitiude that will happen and have a light touch or you crack down on a regular basis, as happened on BU years ago, and everyone gets fed up.

Your post is mystifying mate. Why do you use the royal 'we'? Have you been appointed to speak on behalf of other Blades fans? If so, by whom? The people who made this forum possible, Linz and Foxy, are perfectly entitled to throw their tuppence worth of opinion into the ring if they like. If you seem to favour those who talk ignorantly, hurtfully (there's a lot of that goes on), or just plain stupidly, then it's well within their rights, Linz and Foxy, to comment.

L & F don't 'crack' down that often, in fact I'd suggest they're tolerant to a fault. But as it's their site, and they're the ones who might have to confront any legal issues, it's only right that they are the ones to agree or disagree. They're certainly not censorious, but they do take their responsibilities to heart. All of that seems fair, they act responsibly, they aren't partial or have favourites, they just run this site to the best of their abilities.

With it being a fan's site of course there's a great deal of 'lads' attitude that is visible. Sometimes this is backed up by the type of machismo that bores me to tears, but hey ho, it's what happens when you ask fans to self-police. When a very specific line is crossed then L & F will deal with whatever needs dealing with. I'd go as far as to say that I, along with many other supporters on here, are more than happy for that to be the case, we're delighted that two people who are willing to inject just the right tone of responsibility do so. So I'd suggest that you're being very limited in your appreciation of what it takes to run this site. So here's a suggestion, rather than criticise, why not remove yourself, that way you won't have to subject yourself to the occasional comment from the people who run this site? Better still, rather than pontificate, why not create your own site, absorb the running costs, and dedicate a great deal of your time to ensuring that your site runs smoothly. Not much to it really, in fact I'd suggest, for someone like yourself it would be a doddle. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Does it hurt when you fall off your high horse?

Where does merely pointing out that whinging about costs when people know there is a cost to running a forum is counterproductive. If Linz is having a hissy fit, fine it's her forum but don't start to whinge about the cost in public, it all comes across as a bit "woe is me" Once you do, you suddenly realise that actually, is it all worth it? As I said it's alright here, but if it went, life would go on.

Seriously, the sanctamonious bollocks some people come out with.

That sentence doesn't actually make sense anyway (it starts as a question and ends as a statement) but how is it "counterproductive" for the forum owners to point out that they incur a cost in running the forum? Surely that depends on what they are trying to 'produce'?

Simple language needed for simple boys....

Because it makes them look petty....its all a bit it's my bat and ball and they cost a fortune so play nice with them....but you do know that the bat and ball costs a lot and I could spend it on nice things rather than let you proles use my bat and ball.

Make your mind up, either accept running a forum costs money or have a holidday and a kitchen.

Oh dear....just because you refer to sanctimonious comments doesn't mean your observations are correct.
As for your opening line about falling off a hight horse, really mate, a bit school playground as critiques go. There's a strategy employed by those who seek to deflect appropriate comments, and you are using this to good effect.

But back to your central proposition, you may consider Linz's comments as indulgent and self-pitying, but most posters here don't share that view. Now I'd support your right to post whatever nonsense you like (well almost all) but you're really being overly harsh and uninformed in your comments about what Linz has to say. I suppose existing in an ivory tower does attract a certain level of isolated thinking, so misinterpreting becomes commonplace.

If you're a last word merchant nothing that's said here will stop you from repeating your arrogant delusion. Stop repeating other poster's observations for starters, it's lame and pointless. You're in a cul-de-sac fella, no wonder the view, and your comments, are bleak and offer nothing of merit.

Why people are taking the time to enter discussion with this loon is beyond me.....My response is simply
