I received this absolute nostalgia trip from my parents this evening after they had cleared out their attic... A few of my beloved Sheff Utd shirts from growing up ( I realise these are mainly very common shirts that most people will have tucked away somewhere ) and a couple of signed footballs from when I was a Mascot VS Barnsley. Barnsley wore a blue and black striped away shirt which still had the old Tyke badge on if I remember correctly ( I was very young). Has anyone else ever come across a find like this after twenty years of it being stored away, and what memories did it invoke? For me, the White Wards kit was worn on my first and only trip to the Old Wembley and is definitely my favourite away shirt followed closely by the original neon away strip.

That Wards/Avec goalkeeper kit. Love that, I had it as a kid. Brilliant the fact it wasn't 'goalkeeper' enough so they put a couple of hands on it

Also Wards away was my first proper kit, had Borbokis 2 on it and think it cost more than the shirt, just about fit on the back too!

Has Higdon sat on that last ball?
I think after sitting deflated in a loft for nigh on twenty years anything would like it had received the Higdon treatment. Honest answer is neither was ever blown up, so they are in amazing condition and the signatures have all survived amazingly. The easiest to make out was Carl Veart, who just wrote his name.

I can't get over that everything was printed into the fabric rather than sewn/stuck on, club badge included

I had that "mixed veg" goalie top as well as the 96-97 Avec shirt. The latter was a classic, the former though... ah the 90s!

The last ball is the matchday ball from Swillsborough, Duffy hit it that hard, it burst the pigs bladder!!
