Can we organise a beam back to swillsborough for them so they don't waste their journey? What about the 5000 Bolton fans locked outside. Can't we throw em a few pies to stop em rushing the gates.
Ha ha ha ha. No chance mate. They'll be about 174,382 in Leeds.76,000! Oh sorry, just got a touch of the "Massive" there!
Yeah and I bet they'll be talking about it in 40 odd years time like me old man goes on about the day all them Blades were locked outside of Old Trafford when we were top of the league! What about the 5000 Bolton fans locked outside. Can't we throw em a few pies to stop em rushing the gates.

Only kop and BLLT seats left now the rest has sold out.

And family stand
Bit of a problem mate, I'm not sure we have pies at Bramall Lane this season after the diabolical catering performance from those at the top. What about the 5000 Bolton fans locked outside. Can't we throw em a few pies to stop em rushing the gates.
I went with family by train. We, along with several thousand others, listened to radios for 75 minutes hearing how United were the better side, got into the ground for the last few minutes just before 'that' goal by Best. The rest is history. My uncle still talks about that match in the 1971-72 season when Best scored.
It was at a time when no one ever bought tickets in advance.
It's was simply first come first serve. Get in early or risk getting locked out.
He tells me United must have took 12,000 to Old Trafford but the gates were locked with "sold out" signs.
So they had no choice but to listen to the match on the radio whilst sat in the coach.

I was one of the "lucky" ones. A bit intimidating inside like
Reading all this is doing my head in. Another huge crowd and I won't be there. Last Saturday the atmosphere and the performance were excellent. My 2 mates are doing my head in about going back over soon. Just wish I'd booked flights for this weekend well in advance. If you have the luxury of a ticket please enjoy it and play your part in making it a purposeful day.
That's the obvious problem with living a distance away. You need to plan your games well in advance and hope to avoid the dreaded rearrangement for TVs announcements. You also can not afford the luxury of picking your game based on recent results and the importance of the fixture.Same here. I decided to give this one a miss but really fancy it now. Problem is the SAS flight to Manchester I would normally take is 350 quid one-way. Normally it's about 80, but it's like the trains - leave it to the last minute and they screw you. This crappy pricing model is destroying spontanuity.
When I've eatenDo go on.....
So why are the bottom ten rows of the BLLT not on sale to home fans? Is it because the nets don't stretch all the way over them? Or are they scared that we will run on the pitch and taunt the Bolton fans above us?
29,009 btw
I'm planning on taking 2 bags of Werthers with me to the match. When you bang them together, they make an intimidating noise. What is everyone else doing?'We've got our milky-tea
Two sugars, Two sugars...'
'Come an' 'ave a go
If ya've got an up-to-date mobility pass...'
'Show me the way to go home...
I've got dementia and I don't know who I am....'
A new range of songs, specially written for 'The Werher's Army' Boys....
