just to demonstrate what a total hypocrite I am, I will show no interest in this competition whatsoever, unless we make the final and then I'll probably go and probably get a ticket as I'm a season ticket holder.

Having said that if anyone who can't get a ticket to the final but can show me evidence they've attended all the other games, I'll let you have my ticket

meh .... they say pay for tickets so the club doesn't lose out, but if the clubs do get money out of it! why would they want a end to it?
Clubs think/ thought they could profiteer out of the idea! Up to the fans to say no this is not what we want, if we pay then they are winning!

End of the day, the fa will compare the income of money from the past tournaments and this one, if they see the revenue as improved that will be enough in there opinion to push the idea permanently.
That is all they care about, the money. They will brush off any negative publicity if they have any shred of evidence of success.

I really don't think that would be necessary. Anyone who wants a ticket would be able to get one. I don't think we'd sell 30,000 but even if we did it's likely the opposition would have less demand than us. We could probably get 50-60,000 tickets for a JPT final if we really needed them!
