I dont get the hate towards wilder. they can train and train all week in tactics etc but when players play at 3pm saturday afternoon, wilder cant control the decision making some of them do.
Players may have the ability to do the technical stuff but decision-making is shocking from some players.
kick it long - why? pass on responsibility to someone else as player cant read the game - not wilders fault
not coming into space - no awareness of whats going on around them - not wilders fault
positionally unaware - not wilders fault - players not communicating
dithering on the ball on the edge of the box - player decision making - not wilders fault

Our decision making skills over the last few years have been terrible. at times its like watching people play at goodwin midweek - hence the reason we have thrown away 29 points from winning positions this season.

its a mentality thing - and our squad needs these players getting rid of. Decision making is a mental attribute which not many players have - which is why they cost so much to buy and retain

To make it as a professional you need focus discipline work ethos desire some technical ability all things that can be nurtured and the ability to understand/read the game and make decisions. Every player has the mental attribute to make decisions. However the higher you go the more the game dynamics change psychologically, including speed of thought and decision making. Many nay most of our players are league one level thinkers and league one level with focus, discipline, work ethos, desire and technical ability, some would argue a bit like the manager really

the reason we have thrown away 29 points from winning positions this season.
The reason we have thrown away the most points from winning positions out of any team in the league is because Wilder has completely lost the ability to effectively manage games. He makes poor substitutions and lacks the adaptability to be able to make tactical changes on the fly.

The squad this season is a downgrade on last year's, but this rot we're seeing now started to set in last season.

If you want to absolve him of all responsibility for the performances we've seen in recent months then you need to re-evaluate if you support Sheffield United FC or Chrissy Wilder FC. If none of the negative aspects of how we're playing has anything to do with Wilder, then by the same logic we should have just stuck with Selles.

He was great 7 years ago, no one will dispute that, but the game has moved on- and he has been completely and utterly left behind.

My opinion is clear.
He is clearly the most damaging, THE WORST manager in sufc history
His money signings are appalling
eg Zero return on even club record signings Freeman, Robinson/Burke, Mousset, McDonkey, Brewster
His judgement of young players is appalling
eg failed to recognize two future England internationals at fourth division Northampton town (Ivan Toney, DCL )
eg Slater over (Adams,) DCL, Ramsdale, Brookes et al
eg Hackford over Iliman, Osula, Brooks et al
His tactics comprise for the last three seasons of the worst anti-football facets of a perverse Spanish way of playing with players unable to counter them
eg inverted wingers and aimless possession football passing endlessly in front of the opposition
The football is boring, destroys and disables even top players and has failed for three seasons
His player favourites bias.
An appalling bullying and blame everyone else so called personalty
ps I will be the one vote for you were right about should have brought Warnock in to assess the squad PROPERLY under sensible tactics with players playing correctly in their best positions.
and poetic justice for Wilder stabbing him in the back at Boro (were he failed) and Heckingbottom (and Selles?) here (were he has failed yet again)

"I'm gone beyond caring and will not go or take an interest. I have no hope for the future"

🤣 🤣 🤣

Yep. That one. In relation to everything

I agree with everything that you say, almost… barely. That’s why I voted to keep wilder as we restructure and sell the players of value to sustain the football club
Which facts I have stated do you disagree with?

The only one I can see there is a possible argument is if we DID get a fee on Burke or make SOME money on the swap of Robinson and Burke
As for the one open to some argument (inverted wingers)

When was the last time our should be MVP Brooks put in a cross from the right wing?
The last time I can remember was the game following the penultimate international break when both him and Seriki showed improved crossing
Certainly none I can remember in his last six starts in that insane right wing 'stand there but dribble infield into the mass ranks of packed defenders' with all back in position after playing the ball between our defenders for what seems forever.
Yesterday even the muppet floorboards Ohare was able to cross from the right with his right foot to create a goal (although the excellent FORWARD pass by Seriki made that as well)
We even had the sight a couple of games ago the useless lump Tanganga (WILDERS CAPTAIN and ever present!) lobbing it into the box from the right to theoretically claim an assist.

'Football is a simple game complicated by people who should know better'

It all depends on the budget for next season, the finances, COH's investment plan and what that means in practical terms. Most fans are expecting a tight budget (because of the Parachute Payments) so won't be surprised if we sell a few players and sign a few loans.

However, if it's going to be a lot worse than that, then I can't see them sacking Wilder, as they will probably think - rightly or wrongly - slashing the budget and sacking Wilder, might be too much - as Wilder could be the friendly face - and the connection to the fans, that smooth the cost cutting.

I didn’t mention facts. I scanned your post and just saw an opinion, I didn’t pick up on many facts although I’m sure there were some in there. I just said agree with barely anything you wrote, which is again, opinion on an opinion.

Just spotted this
No idea if it is correct analysis
Most statistics and analysis in football is classic
LIES, DAMNED LIES and STATISTICS
Hence brain dead anti-football tactics like so many managers destroying their football teams at the moment.

What the hell are you on about. You lost me after the second line.
