The pressing intensity under SJ promises to be as good as, if not higher, than Wilders teams so it will be exciting to watch either way. Sure we'll probably be a bit more patient on the ball and probably a bit more nuanced in a technical sense but I think the styles will be somewhat similar - albeit little like the style of the last two seasons and these last 12 months in particular which, if being honest, was a bit cowardly at times and at odds to CWs previous years.

I think you could apply that more under CW he'd lost the will & the dressing room what ever, he wanted out this new guy Slav will have his own methods and ideas on how we'll tackle next season.

Let's remember he's our 1st ever foreign manager but he does come with pedigree of going up, we cannot expect miracles and players will leave or just see out contracts. I struggle to understand tho why every year folk say Billy will leave, if he's got summat to offer other clubs he's got it to offer us don't see him leaving.

Daft as it sounds if Fleck has a belting Euro's we may lose him I don't know, happy Lundstram gone what ever happens I think the players left will have fire in their bellies to right the wrong's of last season.

For me, that drive we had in our championship promotion and first prem seasons has gone. They had that chance and they blew it. The amount of players that looked invisible this season, our spine barely even put an effort in, and thats to survive to stay in the biggest league in the world. Why would they try like they did two years ago, now after almost the worst premier league season in history.

I think we're ready... If there's one thing this past season has got us used to then it's being bottom.

i think we could finish top 6 with the players weve got even if berge and egan are sold add the half dozen new additions that slav will bring in and think were nailed on for the top 6 if not the top 2 lot of negativity on here but the championship is a poor league imo and we wont be punished for every mistake we make at the back

I have been trialing a new drug called Deludalot-not.

It is similar to the more familiar Deludomol, but it helps you see sense, not invent a whole new world of nonsense....

It makes me see that Sheffield United have a very good chance of being in an around the very highest end of the Championship in the next seasons endeavors.

If this does not happen as I think it should, then I will try the older Deludomol, and just make any old type of shit up to suit

Buzzing to get Slav, the best option by a mile.

However its also good to keep realistic, and I do think we need to be prepared for some challenges as well as the good times he will hopefully bring us...

ready for the upheaval and potential upset of some core favourites from the Wilder squad? (e.g. how we react if he lists didz/bash/sharp etc)

Are we ready for a ruthless manager to come and handle our team’s affairs, our 1st foreign manager who has no connection to the club except for them being his employer?

It’s a huge change from Wilder era, but let’s embrace both the challenges and the good times ahead. Slavs red and white wizards

but didnt we all agree that this is unfortunately a hallmark of SJ, slow start followed by rapid acceleration. The team will take a while to get adjusted but i think they will. I also think theres upheaval coming between now and October
