Anyone seen all of Monty's 11 goals?

It was a brilliant goal yesterday, more so because we had a really good spell of pressure before it and his shot came at the end of a good move. The fact it was monty lifted the roof and I really enjoyed the chanting of his name (3 different songs) as it was someone so much maligned but whether in genuine joy or slightly disbelieving mockery from his detractors it was something I was proud to witness.

I think that was the first one I've seen him score away so I've not got the set.

Not made it to Prenton Park today so for the first time ever, I've missed seeing one of Monty's goals.

Anyone got the full set?

Not in any order (and all according to Soccerbase) - today, v Blackpool last season, v Leeds when we beat them 4-0, v Portsmouth in a 4-3 win, 2 v Birmingham (one in a 4-0 win and one in 2-4 cup defeat), v Wycombe in the cup, in a 2-1 win v Stoke in the promotion season, v Burnley (Baxter game?) and Walsall in consecutive games and a header at Crewe.

Rarely post nowadays but yes! I've seen them all! Do I win a prize?!

I worked out I've seen 8 of them, which surprised me! The finish in a 4-0 win against Birmingham if I recall was excellent, and his goal at Leeds was great too, he charged into the box like a man possesed to finish the move beautifully. That yesterday was a scorcher though. The minute he hit it, I fancied it was in.

Jagielka opened the scoring in the first half at the Bramall Lane end. I think that was his first ever goal for the club. A well struck low shot from what looked like the edge of the box, left side. It might have taken a deflection, but from the kop end it was difficult to be sure of that or exactly how far away from goal he was.

The second was from D'Jaffo immediately after half time at the kop end. I think he was just outside the area and fairly central and curled it beautifully into the top lefthand corner (from his perspective). The third was from Jagielka. He played a one two with Ndlovu over on the right side (if facing the kop) and then placed a low shot inch perfect into the bottom left cornert.

I don't know why that game has stuck in my mind as much as it has done. Perhaps because Gascoigne was playing for them. I seem to remember him being partly responsible for our first goal. Or maybe it was because we had fielded some youngsters and looked very good that day. The way we really got after Burnely right from the start surprised me. Burnley were looking a good bet for the play offs, whereas we were frirmly in mid table.

I found that game to be quite uplifting, particularly after all the bad publicity we received following on from the battle of Bramall Lane. And it made my outlook for the next season a bit more optimistic.

I remember the D'Jaffo goal, best goal he ever scored for us. He was a bit of a workhorse and used to take some stick. After that game I am sure he said he used to score goals like that all the time but had been carrying a back injury for years.

As a side line to this, how many of you were there to see Kozzy's goals? Because they're as rare as rocking horse shite.:D

Dont think I've seen them all but seen the last two crackers from open play.

Another sideline - Geary's single (I think) goal, I was there for that one :)

I think Monty's goal was what Frank Carson wouldve called 'a craaaiickuuurr' - lets hope that Jimmy Cricket's got some faith in him too.....
