Whatever division we are in next season, Ralph needs to be in charge and have the chance to make a mark. There are plenty of players in the current squad that have let the club down and themselves and us fans down far more than Ralph has since he has been here.

I don't see your wad waving at McCabe to replace him, nor anyone else's for that matter. He has made truly dreadful managerial appointment decisions with Robson and Speed but I believe Ralph will turn it around and I am really encouraged by the youngsters coming through.

It was partly the fault of the BBC editor. There was a silence of about 30 seconds I think (it seemed longer) that would normally have been cut, but they decided to leave it in. Basically Adams was unsure how to answer the question at first, so he just smiled and didn't say anything. It certainly wasn't "a total and utter disgrace". Some may disagree but i think Adams comes across quite well on camera. People had problems with Warnock and Blackwell's interviews, and Speed was dull as dishwater.


Adams' silence was quite telling. I am sure there will be discussions at the end of the season. Personally I want him to stay. He's a motivator, has got to know the kids, and given his record, I reckon we'd have a good chance of getting straight back up with him in charge. But if he's going to be sacked, please McCabe do it straight after the Swansea game not after a couple of poor results at the start of next season.
