Anyone else worried by blackwells big game record?

as in he hasnt won a big game whilst he has been with us

i find this worrying for tomorow.

The thing that concerns me is that we've taken 2 points out of 15 against other teams in the top 5, including 3 games at home.

And against the entire top half we've got 16 points out of a possible 42, with 8 home games, so that also concerns me.

There seems to be an increasing confidence being gained at the Lane from what i see and hear. Whether or not the dissappearence of fringe players has caused this i don't know.

Before going to the Saints game on Tuesday evening, my last visit had been Wolves at home. The amount of negativity in the ground and the general atmosphere was much worse than i'd seen in a long time, probably since early Warnock. But the atmosphere and togetherness among fans and the spirit of the players on the pitch was much much better, epitomised by the celebration of the winner, by both players and fans.

I believe this moment proved to me that the players are all in it together and fans are going to get behind them, if they give their all and prove on the pitch they can do it, Tuesday for me seemed to ignite this in fans and players....just in time for the Derby!

Im not worried, for some reason i think we are nearing the end of the transition period and we will see a steady improvement as the season plays out.

But as the signature says; i am an eternal optimist.
