Anybody worried about relegation?

If we did get relegated we'd make sure we cut costs and downsized to a nice respectable League Two standard to give ourselves a 'fair chance' rather than making sure of promotion. We'd appoint a manager who plays for draws away from home, not spend a fee on any player, finish 4th and lose, without scoring, to whichever side were promoted from the Conference in the play off final. Sad but realistic.

Last time we got relegated to the 4th we pissed the league at the first attempt, and I've never had so much fun following the Blades away. Two years after winning the league we were promoted again to what is now the Championship.

Obviously I'd rather it didn't happen but I won't be suicidal if we go down. At least it'll break the monotony.

I disagree. Our first season down here was fun when we went away to places like Preston, Rochdale and Notts County and tonked them. Unfortunately we missed out with a points total that would see us crowned champions this season and the rest is history.

Getting relegated again would be no more fun than it is at the moment. We'd also have the soul destroying prospect of even more tinpot teams such as Newport and Barnet coming to the Lane and turning us over.

Should we get relegated we will be forced to get rid of the no interest high payed glamour boys. Clough started this crap with his Rotation look how they played together yesterday Sorry did not play together yesterday. They are not a team at the moment. But on Saturday we will have another line up and they will bring the same crap. Yes we have the best players in the league but the worst Team.

That performance last night had all the hallmarks of the 80-81 team. Take away the 4 wins on the spin in August and we've taken 14 points from 14 games, in a nutshell relegation form over the last 3 months.

Very likely we could get relegated unless we get some steel in the team, right down the spine and across the backline.
