Any chance of reconcilliation?

I don't think so.

I think Chris will be on the first flight out for a well deserved holiday and turn his phone off from all this shite.
I do believe it wont be the last time we see him in a managerial position with us though, might just take a fair few years.
Doubt it you have to have a pretty strong case to leave the country ATM, I don't think losing job at BDTBL covers that.

Prince wants a DOF
Wilder wants to be in charge
Wilder is out of a job
Prince seemingly wanted Wilder to stay
Fans love Wilder
Fans want Wilder back

Wilder to be appointed new SUFC DOF this week.

If we got a new owner then yes.

That said Wilder looks like he needs a break anyway.

After 72 hours since the soul has been ripped out of the club, I wonder if either Chris or the Prince have taken the time to reflect on what they have done. I'm sure Chris would have watched the game and listened to the after match interviews from both Hecky (who seems a very honest and genuine guy) and our skipper who was close to tears. The Prince must have heard all the pundits and fans having their say, which may have come as a bit of a shock for him with this sensuous of opinion.

Before the Prince offers the job to someone else (although this could already have been done) or for CW to find himself another position ( again this could already have been done) do either of them have any regrets from pulling the trigger last week?

I sure when Chris finds himself at another club, after the experience of managing his boyhood club, the feelings he'll have for that job will never be the same. His heart will never be in it. You won't find him pressing the clubs badge against his heart. It will only be a challenge for him, nothing more.
As for the Prince, although I do believe he is quite attached to the club, his priority is to make it into a cost effective and viable concern to probably sell on at some point in the future. Surely, he has to see how Norwich are bouncing back with most of the relegated team and management in tact.

I've been 100% behind Chris especially through this dreadful season, but over this weekend I've found myself criticising him for jumping ship and leaving us in an awful mess.and the disappointment turned to anger and I assume many of us went through the same process of emotions.
If we are going through this with our own emotions, I wonder if either the Prince and Chris have the same feelings. Before it's too late, shouldn't Bettis begin the process of trying to bring the two together again before all bridges have been well and truly burnt, but probably they already have to a point of no return?
I feel I want to move on and look forward, but have this nagging feeling that perhaps one of the two may be having second thoughts and may just be willing to compromise that little bit further.

Whilst writing, and not wishing to start a new thread, shouldn't the Prince be now coming out, preferably today, with his own personal statement to us the fans in a bid to reassure us?
Or is he having second thoughts!!!!!?
In my dreams last night Chris returned to save us from relegation to the National League. He was riding a unicorn bareback (the unicorn being bareback, not Chris) clutching the holy grail beneath a giant rainbow amongst a sea of puppies. I know, no more cheese at bedtime for me....

There comes a point with self immolation where you're better of finishing the job you started. SUFC/the Prince have reached that point.

If what I've read is true, then I can think of 7 million reasons why CW won't be coming back

They certainly need to start acting like a professional football club. The way in which the communication of this shitstorm has been handled by the club solicits no confidence at all that they have any idea know what do.

For all his faults Mc Cabe would have at least had the guts to make an appearance personally instead of sending Bettis to act the nervous patsy in front of the camera. Maybe I have missed something? Is Abdullah's boy still the Chairman of my football club?

That should have been any idea what to do - ha!
