I only went on a day trip but I have had a week in Waikiki and a weeks cruise from Hawaii down to the south Pacific now you come to mention it though.

I didn’t like Waikiki. Too built up, too busy and I couldn’t have a fag without being constantly hassled by twats wanting me to give them cigarettes. The rest of Oahu is much nicer.

Can't disagree with that except that as a non smoker I didn't get that hassle.

It was at the top of my bucket list and I was so disappointed. Narrow beach, high rise buildings and designer shops. Not how I envisaged it at all.
