What are people mean't to do if they become unemployable after a prison stint?

In seriousness there isn't anyone out there to the calibre of King (the player). King the man is a low life (however seems to have a young daughter now who has stemmed the flow of his convictions!)Everyone knows he is a twat but so are 90% of footballers

I don't necessarily disagree, but why does our club not just set some standards for once.

We claim to be a family club but employ thugs. It doesn't send the right message in my opinion and despite his footballing talents I would rather the club didn't bring people like this in.

Leave these people to the likes of west ham etc.

My own employment contract has a clause in it relating to criminal records.

Mine to. I have to be security cleared, although doesn't stop a bit of internet abuse! haha

What I would like to see happen if that we make a statement saying saying yes we have given King a contract however if he breaches one of these 50 clauses we have put in his contract it will be terminated immediately. This is the stance I believe United should have come out with.

I think everyone will agree that King is about as bad as you could take. His record is that bad that anything else makes him totally unemployable. He is on the limit.

One thing is for sure, the signing of King will alienate Weir from more fans and makes his position weaker.

Maybe they have - maybe that's one of the issues they ironed out that took the time before he signed.
If they did so, they would certainly not make it public.
Wouldn't surprise me if there was an immediate termination clause for such a situation and that King has accepted this so he can get on and play.

Nile ranger, madine, ched all fit our recruitment requirements better.

Lets start scouting in the prison system. Surely there are other violent thugs that we could employ

Not who score 1 in 2.

What about Paul Gallagher? Knows the club, don't think he's been involved at all since returning to Leicester last year.

Looking at the PFA website the following players stand out in that position (left sided)

Craig Fagan
Simon Davies
Thomas Hitzelsperger (more central but will know Wier)
Sam Kelly (no other reason than he's a young Everton lad)
Julio Arca
Stephen Hunt

Febian Brandy spent most of the season on the left for Walsall last season if I remember correctly, so don't rule either wing out.

Does that mean that you already know who it is then Daz?

I wish! It could well be a left winger they're targetting but if they have an option of playing Brandy on the left I wouldn't rule out bringing in a right sided player either.

I've said it for a while but I want us to bring in Jay Simpson. It won't happen though.

He's played 3 of Donnys games so far this season..

Just clocked that your avar is actually looking like avatar
How cool of you and how stupid of me?
