Fucking time wasting falling over bastards.. when will the officials get a hold of the game??? How can the same fouls for opposing sides be judged as different outcomes. We had 3 men booked and they had none. Keeper should be shot at dawn for me,, inciting fans - and we have to be graceful as its just a jolly old jape. And wilder gets removed for going for the back in the opposition dug out. Cocks the lot of em!!

Just a bit of friendly advice back to you "mate" next time you feel the need to bore me with gramattical critique don't bother I was in a rage typing on a small screen. My bad.

By the way its just a rant/opinion on a forum meant to allow adult discussion so never claimed or meant to be an amazing point.
 
The couple that threw bottles were complete dicks, however the fighting outside was actually started by a Norwich fan.
As for the keeper he was a complete cockend, but the referee could've stopped by just carding him earlier

It was no. 15 , Kole. Snatched the offending item off Gunn, and threw it back towards the touchline as if to say 'don't be a pussy.' Noticed he clapped the kop and John Street at the end. Fair play to the lad.

At half-time I got talking to the referees assessor. A decent bloke from Hull who loves coming to a 'proper' stadium like BDTBL. We areed that, by HT, the ref. had a quiet game as both sets of players were intent on just getting on with the game.

On the hour? Oh boy! A ref. who seemed intent on not producing a single yellow totally lost it. Where to begin? The corner in the kop end that the ref. gave a goal-kick for. (What the fuck are 'referees assistants' for?) The ref. missed it, but nobody can tell me that both missed it. He was utterly obsessed with his fucking spray - painting a line for the wall before deciding where the ball should go. On one occasion, the wall was barely 7 yards away. CW should have known better. He definitely meant to kick the Norwich drinks bottles out of sheer frustration. The time wasting. The gamemanship. At one point I thought we were in for another 'Battle of Bramall Lane'. Why wasn't the Norwich player who dived for a penalty, told to get up and didn't get a yellow?

Reading just this thread, a plastic bottle was thrown at the goalie. Ugly scenes in Bramall Lane (and beyond) after the game. The Norwich players were inciting both sets of fans. CW probably will get a touchline ban for Swillsborough. It's a passionate game.

BUT I lay the fault of all these incidents squarely on the ref. He totally lost control

The ref wound me up but thankfully I was able to resist behaving like a cunt.
 
The ref was shocking for the last hour!!. He totally lost control of the game!!. That's why the goalie was being a knob!!. He'd worked out that the ref had no control of the game and therefore got away with his antics!!!. A Norwich fan agreed that he was being a dickhead and was thankful that the ref was awful. He said and I agreed that if the ref had been competent then the goalie would have been booked early on and would have probably been sent off!!. It was just a bad day at the office and we're still in a good position in the table!!. Onwards and upwards. Utb

2 yellows to 5 yet they were the ones rolling around as if shot ,surrounding and moaning to the ref.

It was a master class in the art to be fair. I'm sure goalkeeping coaches up and down the country will be getting their hands on the video.

My favourite moment was when he deliberately put a goal kick about a foot outside the six yard box during stoppage time, probably expecting uproar from the crowd and a few more seconds wasted. The kop were beyond caring by that point as we just wanted him to bloody get on with it

can't remember the game but some muppett in league 1 spent 80 minutes time wasting only for us to score 2 and then he was rushing around like mad. Would have been sweet to do that today

You are right, except for the last point. I was about to shout out when I noticed the linesman had given offside.
 



Maddison the 23 was a joke...dived trying to get a Pen,then did an Oscar winning performance of being shot...6 minutes injury time my arse...it took him that long to get up and leave the pitch while turning to the away fans to applaud them...Twat!
 
Can't say I had ever seen a team waste as much time since Forest did similar a good few years ago. There is playing out the game and taking your time but Norwich took it to a whole new level starting the minute they got their goal. What I found really sickening was the way certain players would run close to a United player and throw themselves on the floor as though they had been punched out followed by half the Norwich team chasing after the ref trying to get our player red carded.
By the second half the referee had completely lost any sort of control of the game and the Norwich players Gunn especially were just taking the piss. Are the league enforcing retrospective bans for diving ? if so Norwich have a few candidates. Between them and the officials they spoilt what could have been a decent game, I'd be embarrassed and ashamed if I were a Norwich supporter as in the last hour of the game there can only have been 20mins of football played.
Having said all that we were crap 1st half fuck about like that in defence next week and the pigs will get a cricket score, even the fans were crap, no need for throwing bottles onto the pitch, no doubt the persons throwing stuff were indignant last week when Donaldson took a bottle to the head. I hope they get the same as the Sunderland supporter, banned.

Not particularly.
Too much back passing, even in injury time our players twice played it back to Blackman, as a better option to set up an attack.
Really poor service from the flanks.
Gave the ball away incessantly.
The back 4 could easily have gifted three more goals to Norwich before the goal. Some abysmal defending first half.
No attacking threat all day.

swindon? i seem to remember their keeper being a bit of a dickhead, albeit an apprentice dickhead compared to what we saw today.
 
This is just a taster for next week,Wallace and co will be doing just the same,can't wait for the referee to be announced,i'm trembling at the thought.
