I agree with Swanny,,..my most angry moment was also the Newcastle 2nd goal. Much of my anger was the injustice.... we were so superior to them on the night.
Its up there with the Sheff Wed 0-0 matches where an away team comes to BL with zero ambition, talk about “parking the bus”.
The United v Newcastle Aldo brought back memories of some of our games in league 1 where the opposition had all 11 men in and around their penalty area for king spells. Wasnt as angry about the ghost goal away at Villa because based on general play a draw was a fair result.

The Spurs away clown feet offside had me shouting, ranting and yelling, but the winner for me is Newcastle at home. The Shelvey goal, complete with flagging linesman, players pausing and disbelief wins for me...it was the ex referee trying to justifying it on TV that pushed me over the edge and had me yelling at the screen.

The Villa ghost goal probably would have won but a general apathy and expectation of ineptitude of the officials has set in by then.

It wasn't controversial. Straight red card all day long. If that had been Burke getting manhandled we would say red card too.

As someone has said, the Man City away game for me.

Living that way, my rivalry is largely with the Manchester clubs on a day to day basis.

The offside goal, but then the referee blocking Fleck... Another moment where a simple blow of the whistle and some common sense applied and it is never talked about again.

Granted we still possibly and probably may have lost, but its things like that, the Villa ghost goal, the Newcastle Shelvey goal, Lundstrams big toe... where it seems to always happen to us and then forgotten about because we aren't one of the fashionable teams.

Wednesday 4th March 1959: Norwich City 3 Sheffield United 2 - 3rd Round FA Cup Replay

My first Blades game ever was the first game at the Lane on Saturday 28th February 1959, when we drew 1-1 with them.

I was 8 3/4 years old and we'd been knocked out of the FA Cup by a 3rd Division North team!!!

I was reeely reeely angry!!!!

I was so angry I stabbed my teddy bear!!!

I was even angrier when we were knocked out of the FA Cup the following season by the PIGS!!!........

The most anger I have felt is when they stopped us going to games.

Hand on heart I have not seen a minute of action since Norwich, it is too depressing, especially with this being the best team in my lifetime!!
When Boris announced 6 months yesterday I could have jumped under a train. only the thought of my kids stopped me.

But it wasn't? It was a textbook red card. It's only controversial cause you wish it didn't happen.
I think you're a good team and will do okay this season, but it was a clear red card.

Either way it's just one game in a 38 match season. Losses happen, so no reason for so much negativity on here.

Scott was the Ref for the Spurs game,hope we never see him again cos i will just assume summat bad will happen and explode/self combust.

The Villa manager pisses me off happy to take a walk in goal from Bielsa to help get them into the play off's, but no thought to do the same in our game happy to cheat the point that ultimately kept them in the Premier League.

Villa had already secured a play off spot before they played Leeds.

probably because he was running onto the ball and would have got it had the foul not been committed. I see it through claret& blue eyes no doubt, as you see it through red and white ones. i thought it was a good decision but can see why you wouldn't

Why did the referee not go and look at the monitor? suppose to be premier league directive. Also, the referee was a mile behind the play.

All the anger on here mostly towards the officials/Var, all got validity in my view which begs a question,
Should we now start & get ‘cute’ (cheat basically). We & Wilder are rightly proud of our approach to the game & none con attitude BUT it’s costing us no question, how do we all feel about our players starting to go down screaming at the slightest touch & rolling around, I don’t like it but it undoubtedly gains other teams an advantage has refs/var haven’t got a clue when their being conned. We all know the worse teams for it, when we play Burnley & Wolves we don’t need to do it.

Talking about the last time we were here surely the clown that awarded Liverpool a penalty because the defender THOUGHT about fouling Gerrard must take the title of Dick head ref award of the century .Did not know that to be a ref you have to be a mind reader to.Never seen that decision before or since .

It was never a red card, Watkins committed the initial foul, which would have been evident had the ref had the humility to look at the monitor.

But ask yourself this, if Scott had given Egan a yellow card, do you honestly think Stockley Park would have interfered and upgraded it to a red ?

Not a chance, because their main priority isn’t getting the right decision, it’s validating their colleagues decision and unless there’s a glaringly obvious mistake, that’s what they do.

Dermot Gallagher ex FIFA ref said the ref made a mistake because Watkins was not in possession of the ball and the keeper was the nearest player who was favourite to clear the ball .He went on to say for a player to be shown a red card for stopping a attacker a chance to score the forward must be in possession of the ball which clearly he was not.The ref should have shown a yellow card only and a free kick but seeing it was six of one and half dozen of the other he should just have played on.If the defender had done a Grealish and had fallen down I THINK HE COULD HAVE HAD A FREE KICK.

MAY BE THE MONITOR WAS NOT WORKING .IT HAS BEEN KNOWN TO BE FAULTY BEFORE AT VILLA YOU KNOW

The rules are online for everyone to see. It was a clear red card. And thus was correctly given.

I very rarely get annoyed by decisions during games anymore. I expect us to get shafted one way or another, the past few seasons have been unforgettable but the footballing gods have us in their sights once more..

I’ll say it here and now. We will be relegated this season, I’ll happily eat humble pie but I just can’t see us surviving.
