Outgoing? Anel

The high asking prices for Souza and Anel are likely linked to the takeover. Presumably selling at less than book value worsens the financial position for the club and therefore effects what the perspective new owner would pay. PA will hold out for more or won't deal would be my guess. All that changes with a new owner.

Wolves in for him allegedly

If we can get £20m for him, get rid.
Particularly if it helps us keep hold of Hamer and / or start the rebuild.
Quick sales on Anel and Souza could be key to our Summer. I wouldn't haggle too much as time is quite a key factor for us whilst the takeover stays in limbo.

First out the door if it were me.

Mardy, sulky, Spineless twat who’s efforts when things were tough spoke loudly regarding his character as a man.

Added to the fact he’s not as good as he thinks he is.

Hopefully a gullible club will come in and take him for a fee that allows us to rebuild with some lads with the opposite character to him.
Same goes for Souza as well.

Don't hold back mate 😁 but do agree on anel !

For me the jury's still out with souza ? I'm just wondering if a season in the championship would make him ? The premier League can get manic at times, I think we've not seen the best of this lad .

WOLVES head the chase for £20million-rated Anel Ahmedhodzic as they look to replace Max Kilman.

Defender Kilman joined West Ham - so boss Gary O’Neil is after a centre-half who can play from the back - and the Sheffield United star fits the bill.

Wolves have their eyes set on replacing Max Kilman who joined West Ham last week

With Molineux chiefs reportedly identifying Sheffield United's Anel Ahmedhodzic as the ideal man

Ahmedhodzic, 25, wants to get back to the Prem after being relegated last term so the move would suit him and give United cash for new recruits.

The Blades are in takeover talks but a sale would let gaffer Chris Wilder get on with planning for next season in the Championship.

Sheffield United are looking for about £20m but may have to settle for less.

The Bosnia international who was actually born in Sweden – moved to Bramall Lane in a £5million move in the summer of 2022 from Malmo.

The Blades set Ahmedhodzic's price tag at £20m in January when Napoli and Atalanta registered their interest in the 25-year-old.

He is an imposing 6ft 4in tall, making him the same height as the departing Wolves skipper Kilman.

Kilman, 27, has joined former boss Julen Lopetegui at West Ham after signing a seven-year-deal following a £40million move last week.

Molineux chiefs will pay around £4m to National League side Maidenhead United, from whom they signed Kilman for £40,000 in 2018 due to a 10 per cent sell on clause.

Wolves are also interested in Blades playmaker Gustavo Hamer — and should he leave, the Bramall Lane side may go for his ex-Coventry team-mate and free agent Callum O’Hare.

Meanwhile, Leeds want Sheffield United’s Jayden Bogle but do not agree with the £7m valuation.

The Whites need to fill their right-back slot after letting Connor Roberts go back to Burnley following his loan and they are yet to discuss a bid with Clarets.

There is also Italian interest in Blades midfielder Vini Souza, with agents working on a move and AC Milan in the mix.

Fulham have already had a £15m offer turned down for the 25-year-old Brazilian.

Hope nobody was watching him Saturday, absolutely shite, get rid!
Overran one ball, and he needs to learn to be more conservative when playing in a back four. The rest of the defence also needs to be more alert/aware when a defender ventures forward, they were nowhere when he lost it. Otherwise I think he looked good. One excellent tackle, too fast for the opponents and showed composure on the ball. He should have scored from Peck's excellent corner kick quite early. For One's goal AA made the original header.

Aye
I’ve heard that both Fylde & Tamworth are keen after watching him on Satdi

We all obviously know ow that Ahmedhodzic is a top championship CB. And whilst I appreciate our defence was under a lot of pressure last season, my biggest surprise of the season was how bad he was. I genuinely thought he would have been a talking point for pundits for all our games but that's football. If we can make 15-17m profit on him with a sell on clause and reinvest in the squad then it's good business for me.

Hamer is the one we NEED to keep!!!

He would have been more of a talking point if people could pronounce his name!

Right move for all parties. Sounds like a tidy profit again, despite calls from some on here that we’d be lucky to get any interest and should take whatever we can get…

Didn’t lose talent last season, just mentally checked out. A big question mark on his character but he’ll end up spending his career in the top flights across Europe.

I’ll remember his first season fondly where he was a revelation. Less said about last year the better.

He's clearly one of our best players, especially at Championship level, but he also clearly doesn't want to be here and seemingly hasn't for a while. We were always a stepping stone for him, and that's fine as long as we get a decent price.

You see, I'm not sure he was last time we were down here? His performance levels dropped considerably in that 2nd Championship season after his time out, but the first season he was a beast of a player. As of right now I'm not convinced he's a solid lower half premier league centre half, particularly in a 2.
He will look better in a better side that's for sure, but I think he's weak one on one and could be exposed.
£17m sounds like a good deal for all concerned, even better if we can get a loan deal with a view to buy (or not) on Hoever done at the same time.

Probably needs to go if he doesn’t want to be here - talented player when he wants to be (so wouldn’t surprise if he did well at wolves - hope we include a sell on).

That said he was dogshit last season and it’s been about 18 months since he last played really well.

He only played one season in the championship for us

Really sad the player that he was the first season turned into a sulky baby who just wants out.

If we get 20 million that is a great result and Wolves get another average Premier League player who won't be up for the fight when it matters.

He was excellent first year, not as good in premiership, but a good move for both parties. We might have had the same result from Ndiaye, he could have flopped, premiership is way above championship level

Listen lads. He always was going to use us a stepping stone, he basically said that. I’m cool with that. But he’s probably cost us a good 10-15-20 million on top of what we’ll get from his sulky shitty performances last season. He can fuck off for all I care. Anything over 15 i’ll be happy with
