Seems a bid odd?
CW said he'd been ill in bed for 6 days when he missed the Norwich game. Hopefully this is nothing to do with him carrying over any complications from his previous bout of glandular fever and he's just under the weather. In any event he's putting his health first if he doesn't feel right and carrying an injury which is sensible. He's previously had problems with the Bosnian International team medical care.

Think his wife is also heavily pregnant

It’s better for us him being home. Few days off and a good week down at the training ground.

This isn't the first time he's pulled out of national team with an 'injury'

I've not seen it mentioned on here - there was a clear sense of frustration by Anel on Saturday when (just before half time) he fouled their player and then fist thumped the pitch in anger.

Not sure if it was for the bad pass he was given, the fact he committed a foul or he knew a booking was coming.

Either way there was a real show of passion which is definitely more visible this season.

I think it was due to him knowing he should have used is left foot, but hesitated and got caught in possession, right in front of Wilder

He only seems to use his left foot when he has to, and never passes to the left back position, he always cuts back in side and plays the ball with his right foot

Now JLT and RND are getting back to fitness, it wouldn't surprise me if he gets dropped for a natural left footed player

We've kept 6 clean sheets in a row, reckon barring injury Souttar and Anel are the pairing

Why would he get dropped? Since he's been with Souttar they've not conceded a goal. I doubt Wilder is worried that he's tackled with the wrong foot on the odd occasion.

I just think when we come up against better teams than Luton, he might get caught with the ball and it could lead to a goal

I find it frustrating that he always cuts in side and plays the ball back to Souttar instead of passing the ball out wide

It's just me wanting him to be more two footed

He has stop start facing forward more
This propensity to turn back towards goal all. The time. Reminds me of lundstram when he was going through the motions

That's why he got caught out even though it was easier to Stride forward
Hopefully Wilder will. Have pointed this out to him

Ahmedhodzic refusing to use his left foot is still miles better at LCB in a pairing than Robinson or Norrington-Davies would be.

He is banned against Blackburn as today was his 5th yellow. Presuming we go for Robbo and Souttar then?

Silly reaction from Anel but that Belgium cunt needs doing.

BUT we haven't a clue what he's said to Anel for him to react, everyone reacts to personal shit being said.

It's irrelevant what he said. He's a footballer not someone coming out of a pub. All manner of shit is said on the pitch. Professional footballers shouldn't react.

I agree, you simply can’t react like that. However, simple question - apparently “raising your hands” is always a red but squeezing someones neck and clipping them across the head when they’re on the deck after you’ve wiped them out is OK?
But the ref's missed those - VAR and it's probably a different story.

The cunt was digging, niggling and winding Anel up the entire match, Anel knows what Bassette is doing, but the red mist has come down. Personally I can't totally blame him for that, but it's just the game you have to play in the modern game, and it's cost us.

I hate that utter twats like Bassette play the game in that way, but you have to deal with it,

Did he cost us the game today? Debatable but personally I don't think today's result was all on him. Was too much space for the man on their second goal.

Should Bassette have been sent off as well, yes as he does put his hand on Anel's neck first, which must have been missed by the ref.

They were still making chances and getting through our defence before the red card, having 10 men just made it a little bit easier, especially as we lost our attacking outlet by taking Campbell off for Robbo.

Had we taken someone else off other than Campbell, we would have still had that attacking outlet but even that could have left us exposed and cost us all 3 points.

End of the day, we got a point, move on to the next game, Oxford at the lane?
